It's been almost a month now and Blake has not yet returned in the island. Alexis was left alone waiting after he said that he will just finish some business. She is always wondering what happened to him and when will he ever return. She is scared that she is left alone for good.

"Please come back," Alexis prayed as she look out at the sea that lonely afternoon.

Alexis closed every window of the house that evening as she feel that a storm is coming.

She gathered candles and matches. If in case the generator won't make it through the storm, she is prepared. She sat at the couch and stared at the window as the wind violently hit the shores.

The rain started pouring so hard and she wrapped herself in a blanket. The summer dress she is wearing poorly protected her from the cold.

She was about to fall asleep when she heard a load thud from the porch. Then the lights went out. She was trembling from cold and fear as she lighted the candles on the table. She slowly peeked on the door to see what fell on the porch. It might be a branch or whatever it is that may have be brought by the storm.

"Oh my Lord!" Alexis said when she realized that it was Blake that is lying on the porch. She quickly went to him and tried to wake him up. He groaned and she saw bruises and cuts on his face. Slowly, Alexis took Blake inside the house. He immediately fell on the couch, Alexis ran to her room and almost stumbled on the way down as she carried blankets.

"Princess," he whispered.

"I am here," she said as she wipe his hair with a towel. "I am just here." She quickly unbuttoned his shirt and wrapped him in a dry blanket. She stood up to get hot water when he grabbed her wrist.

"Please stay with me. I'm freezing"

She sat next to him and removed the blanket. She hugged him and wrapped them together under the same blanket. Blake buried his face on her neck and she closed her eyes in relief that he is finally back. "I won't ask you what happened," she whispered in his ear. "But I want you to know that I am happy that you are back."

He pulled away and looked at her eyes. She lovingly smiled at him. He held her cheek with his cold fingers and kissed her lightly on the lips. Her eyes widened in surprise upon the intimate gesture so he smiled at her. And he locked her in an embrace that meant a lot more than what he could say.

"I thought I'll die out there," he told Alexis. "But the thought of you kept me alive."

He sounded so sincere and she hugged him tighter, "I have been fighting what I feel for you, Princess. Because I don't want to be part of the goddamn prophecy."

Her heart ached when she heard what he has to say. She wanted him so bad but she did not want to show him that given the circumstances.

"--but I can't help myself." Blake cut her off from thinking, "I want to be with you."

"Why did you save me?" She asked. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because you are made to be mine. And I will never be complete without you." Then he kissed her again so long that she almost melted in his arms.
