"Please, take your shoes off." Riane smacked me on the shoulder before I entered the apartment.

She walked in, disappearing around a corner and started talking to someone. "Where's your shirt? Dawn is here. Get a shirt on." She was muttering from the other room.

A low voice responded. "I don't think Dawn will mind seeing me without a shirt."

"I MIND!" She raised her voice.

"I don't mind!" I shouted, sitting down and untying my shoes. Tossing the shoes against the wall, I walked over to her couch and lifted my feet onto the arm of it then laid my head on the other end. Grabbing the remote, I turned the TV on and sighed in annoyance as an ad with Riane came on. By the way, she was a model.

"Heyyyy, it's meee." She entered the room and turned the TV off. "I honestly hate looking at commercials of myself. It's kind of creepy." She sat down on the floor in front of me. "So, what weren't you telling me earlier?"

"Oh..." I rolled my eyes. "Nothing important..." Okay, I knew I wanted to tell her, so I quickly started the story. I described to her in detail my feelings and what I saw. I even demonstrated the look he gave me.

Riane nodded continuously and a smile on her face got steadily larger. "Mmmmm. Yous in love."

"I can't help it! It just happens. It wants to control meeee."

"Welp, that's just the way it is."

"Riane! You're no help at all."

"Sorry." She got up and sat on the futon underneath her window. "I just shoot it straight. You know?"

"I do know. Riane, I hate you sometimes."

Her eyes grew wide and she leaned towards me. "That's alright Dawn .. I just want you to remember, I will always love you."

"Should I have witnessed this?" Her boyfriend entered the room. I will add, he was wearing a shirt.

"Troj, I'm not in love with her..." Riane laughed. "Don't worry, I'm not. I already have a love in my life."

He smiled, sitting next to her.

"Not you silly, God."

"Well of course, of course. Naturally." He got up to walk back to the kitchen, but Riane grabbed his arm and pulled him back onto the futon.

"Don't worry, I'm just play'in around. You're second on my list."

"Ok, I can work with that." He smiled and leaned against her, putting all his weight on her shoulder.

"Troj!" She flailed her arms as he knocked her onto the floor. "You are such a tush."

"You guys are pretty cute." I said, managing a smile. That's what I wanted. I wanted a guy who would just be there and be awesome. Also, I wanted a hot guy... Lincoln.

Troj and Riane had been dating for at least two years and they were just about perfect. Troj was tall and broad shouldered with blondish brown hair that was relatively short, but spiked up all over. He was fair skinned but looked like he had something else in him, maybe ethiopian? I don't know. He had blue eyes and smiled alot. He was just so perfect for Riane. While I'm describing people, I might as well describe Riane too. She had dark brown eyes and medium long curly hair that was relatively the same color. Her skin was a dark caramel and she had long legs.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked, running my hands through my hair instictively.

"Well we're just waiting for Ria to get here. Then we'll leave for Mae's party." Riane said from her position on the floor.
