"Lincoln, how you doin? Alright, great. Yeah we're down the road from where she's staying. Who do you want to pick her up? Mae? Ok, well I think I have a better person. What if Ria picks her up and brings her-yeah. Of course. There's Ann too... are you sure about this? This is a big step... I mean, you guys haven't talked in so long and I think you might want to take things a little slower if you want something good. That's just my opinion though. Yeah I know. Ok, we'll meet you there. Alright, bye."
"So where are we headed?"
"We have to get ahold of Ria first.
"Ok, I'll call her. What do I say?"
"Ask her if she can drive Dawn to Central Park at nine tonight."
"Okay.. "
I called her and she said yes, she could. "Now what?"
"We have to go to Lincolns house and he'll tell us. He said it's too elaborate to say on the phone."
"Okay.. well it better actually be elaborate, he lives on The other side of town man."
"Yeah, well let's go." Trojan drove down the road and onto the highway.
"So what do you think he's going to do? Is he asking her out?"
"He told me not to tell anyone. Even you." Trojan gave me a big smile and carressed my face.
"What! That's poo, I think I have a right to know."
"You'll have to wait and see. Some information just can't be shared."
"Ughhhh... Oh my gosh this is my jam!"
'Uptown Funk' started playing and we jammed along to it.
"Girls hit your hallelujah! OHH."
"Okay, dude stop you sound bad." Trojan put his hand over my mouth and pulled into a driveway.
"PPThhtht" I blew his hand away and unbuckled my seat belt. "Alright, so what are we doing?"
"Trojan and I are going to discuss the plan then I'll tell you what you need to do and we'll head to Central park." He got out of the car.
"So.. what do I do?" I blinked at him.
"Erm.. I guess you could just stay here, we'll be quick."
"Okay." I leaned back in my seat and thought about things. Trojan was great. He was so handsome and nice, and funny. I'm glad I found him. I wanted to get married, but he'd have to ask. I wasn't going to ask that'd be weird for me. I wonder if Dawn can see any of this coming? I doubt it, she's not the quickest.
Trojan opened the door after about twenty minutes. "Alright, we're headed to the park now." He smiled at me and winked. "This will be so fun." We drove off with Lincoln behind us.

We arrived and the sun was setting, sinking below the horizon and making a rainbow of colors as it faded. The clouds were streaked across the pallet and leaves fell around us. We pulled up to the Park and waited for Lincoln to pull up. We got out of the car.
"You ready Lincoln?" Trojan went to him and slapped him on the shoulder.
"Sure am." He replied, shaking his arms and jumping up and down in preparation. He glanced at me and nodded. "Riane, Trojan is going to go to the other side of the park and wait, and you'll come with me, k?"
"Alright." I nodded and walked over to Lincoln.
Trojan got back in the car and flashed me a big teethy grin then drove around a bend and disappeared.
"I think Dawn's almost here! We've got to be fast. Let's make this time good for her." I smiled.
