Piper's POV
I need to get out of here, now. Without hesitation, I whipped my wand out of my robe pocket and pointed it at Draco. He let go of my arm instantly, and I shot upstairs. He didn't call me back, or try to grab my arm again. I was glad, I don't want to be around him, or anyone.
When I arrived in my dorm, I changed out of my Hogwarts uniform and into a grey baggy t-shirt and shorts. The room was dark, only a slight beam of light from the Black Lake made the room look a tiny bit brighter. I don't mind the dark, so I didn't bother lighting any candles. I also like having our common room submerged in water, it gives the whole room a different lighting, and being able to see what lies under the Black Lake is quite fascinating.
Just as i was about to get into bed and fall asleep, the door of the room swung open.
"Lumos Maxima!"
I shielded my eyes as an eye-burning, bright light flashed in front of me. I threw myself onto my bed, yelling.
"Sorry, sorry! It's Pansy." My best friend said loudly. I reopened my eyes. The whole room was now alight. Pansy had come in by herself, although there seemed to be more noise coming from the common room. Dinner was over, and now the peace and quiet i was hoping for has suddenly vanished. How lovely.
"Ugh. I want to sleep, night." I crawled under the covers and hid myself from the light still lingering in the room.
"No, I have to talk to you." Pansy plopped herself on my bed and threw my duvet off me.
"What is it?" I'm really tempted to push Pansy off the bed.
"Well, you held Draco's hand on the train..." Oh great, she decides to bring this up.
"And?"
"There's something going on, you both like each other."
"I'm going to bed, bye."
"And you're acting a little strange too, why'd you walk out the Great Hall?" I'm sick of this conversation. I really don't want to talk about today.
"I was, and still am, tired. For the last time, goodnight." I turned away from Pansy, and the light from the spell Pansy cast earlier dimmed.
"Fine, act like that. I'll find out your little secrets later on." I heard Pansy get up and exit the room.
Finally, I can be left alone. I just hope people will leave me alone for the rest of the year...
