A/N: This may not be accurate like the books/movie but hey, this is my version of the whole thing. I hope you enjoy it though. AND SORRY FOR THE MONTH LATE UPDATE ILL TRY HARDER LOVE YOU GUYS💖
The trip to Care of Magical Creatures consisted of Pansy drawling on about how much she hates Hagrid, the ground keeper, while I listened.
"The oaf shouldn't even be allowed to teach children, he's so big he could harm them!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air. "And he isn't allowed to use a wand. Dumbledore should know to hire teachers with a magical ability."
I sighed. I only signed up to this class because of Pansy, she insisted for me to join. We thought Professor Kettleburn would be teaching us, however due to his retirement, Hagrid would be taking his place as the teacher.
"The pathetic half-breed..." Pansy carried on making insults and shouting them aloud, until we reached the area outside Hagrid's hut. Draco Malfoy stood there, with Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle, a smirk appearing on his face at the sight of us.
"Thorne, Parkinson." He said.
"Malfoy..." I said back, then moved away. He's probably going to think I'm weird, but right now I couldn't care less .Blaise waved me over, and I walked up to him.
"Do you have the book that we were meant to buy for Care of Magical Creatures? It's a right handful, it tried to rip my fingers off at home!"
"Haha, yes, I do," I giggled, "I latched it closed with a belt." I reached into my black side strap bag and I pulled out the monstrous book that we were issued to buy. It snarled and shook in my hands, trying to free itself from the strength of the belt wrapped around its self.
"My mum tried to charm the bloody thing close when she was at home-which was like for five minutes-but the book wouldn't stop moving." I explained.
"My book has an old cloak wrapped around it. I didn't think it would hold but hey, it did!" Blaise smiled.
We talked for a bit longer, and then came the Gryffindors. I ignored their presence like a normal person minding their own business would do when that idiotic git Malfoy went up to them and stared taunting-as always. This attracted the other Slytherins and soon I was the only Slytherin just standing there silently, whilst everyone else sniggered at Malfoy's cruel comments.
"Hey Potter! D-D-Dementor!" Malfoy shouted, petrified. I looked up. There was no Dementor in sight. He then threw his cloak hood over his head as Potter turned his back to see the 'Dementor', and so did the others. Blaise nudged me and then I followed in suite. We wriggled our fingers and pretended to be Dementors, making ghostly sounds as the Gryffindors frowned at us.
"Haha, Malfoy, how funny." Granger tutted.
The Slytherins sniggered-well, except for me-standing back up straight. It was pretty pathetic the whole situation. I shook my head and turned around, ignoring the taunting and colourful words being thrown back and forth.
***
The lesson was quite eventful. Harry ride on a Hippogriff called Buckbeak and nearly everyone wanted to have a go-well except us Slytherins.Draco attempted to ride on the Hippogriff, but that resulted in him getting knocked over and scraped on the arm.
"Agh! It's killed me! It's killed me! Aaghh!" Draco cried. I stifled my laughter as he moaned on the ground. He was bring melodramatic, way too over the top. Hagrid carried him to the Hospital Wing and I followed behind.
Once Draco's arm was wrapped up and he was lying on a bed, I started to talk to him.
"You okay?" I giggled
"You think this," Draco waved his hand over his injured arm, "is funny?"
"Well, a little but-"
"I really hate you, Thorne. It's as if you done ca-"
"Oh of course I care about you, Malfoy, why am I here then?"
Draco smirked. I frowned. He's such an idiot.
"Ohhh, you care..."
"Yeah, as a friend!"
"Okay then." Draco winked at me; and I so wanted the floor to take me whole.
