We never had a choice...It was either die or do.So we chose to do it...If you ever feel insignificant or the most useless person in the world, then you did not grasp your position, you should be thankful you're alive and well...Because something rather than your misconceptions are at work, something that keeps remembering us the notion of FEAR, the feel of it, something that lurks beyond reason and logic, it's that SOMETHING that is making you doubt your own existence....For everyone that something is different...For me, for Allana, for Janarus, that something is the unknown that we face right now....Locked in a strange circular room with blue walls and a green floor, where there is no ceiling, only darkness up there...and few red dots that keep staring at us, and we hear them....strange noises, a language of some sort, they keep yelling out a single word when referring to our names, because they know our names...but we don't know them, who they are, what they are.In a starless night, me, Allana and Janarus saw something in the sky, something darker than the sky, that came towards us...but it went right through us, leaving only Allana shivering and cold....She said she saw her dead uncle that molested her as a child, Janarus told me he saw his dead mother again, but he was so calm and it wasn't normal....As for me..I saw only a flash of light, that whispered randomly some words in a strange Nordic language...Allas, the last words I heard were "Room for two, one has to die"...What was that?Room for two, one has to die?I never gave thought to it then...But I understand now, we are in that room, the circular room, even though I don't know how it snows(it's summer) we don't feel any cold, only Allana...She's been shivering to death since the first encounter with the black thing...So the "Room for two, one has to die" was referring to this...I don't want Allana to die, or any of us...But I can't do anything, we try to warm her somehow but it's pointless..even Janarus gets scared now, seeing his beloved in a state between life and death...They grew up together, they went through many hardships together..And here they are, one of them has to die by something unknown...A cruel destiny has been given to them, two people that are as one, since childhood....Again, we hear those noises coming from above our heads, two pair of red eyes watching us, two pair of sparkling red lights...Now they whisper, they don't scream anymore...One of them whispered "Uno tiamara, anua avia" and the other replied "Anua umna, iunini tiamen", this language is different from the noises we heard before, it's another language and the voices...there are no voices, I hear the words with my own voice saying them....We wait...Janarus loses his composure, he's angry and screams back at them...Suddenly, I hear my own voice replying to the screams:"Do not scream or you may lose your beloved's spirit that will be one with you" and then again silence...A silence that pains us inside out.
We are doomed...the silence is unbearable...we don't hear our own voices screaming at each other...Janarus' gaze is only on Allana...Somehow, they are able to talk, not through speech, but through something that I cannot understand.Janarus starts to cry, I understand now....He knows it's time to say goodbye to her..And me, I too shed some tears, we hug her and say our last goodbyes with eye contact. And suddenly, she just disappears, without a trace, as if she never existed..I hear again my own voice chanting something or singing:"Every speck and every being, has a written end, every reality will know, when it's time to bend, to stop the flow of time for some....for many will continue on...And when we spill our brains to find, what is wrong and what is right, we forget that time won't wait, for us to find again our faith....We die children, we never grow, and children remain, in afterlife glow".Janarus is silent, he...he lost it.His only reason to live perished along with all the memories about her...But he can remember the feelings she left behind for him...and so, his soul mourns, even if he doesn't know why....I'm trying to tell him about her, I still remember her, he doesn't, I can see that in his eyes....The eyes of a person are the gates to the soul...If you can see beyond them, you can dive your gaze directly into his soul, and feel his remorse that he doesn't know why he feels it.That is Rememberfeel, it happens frequently in our time and age...In our world, age is something strange...You won't age unless you are sad, or depressed...And now, Janarus ages fast, and if he will keep it this way, he will eventually die...That is the fate for the depressed, it's nature's answer for the negative feelings we have...That is why, when someone dear dies, almost many more will follow, because the pain of losing someone is so huge, it will shatter them, and they will turn to ash.Such is the fate of humankind in the year 3000, the earth is inhabited by 3 million people...We often hear stories about the past, when there were 20 billion people here, right on earth...Sometimes we discover some of their ruins, ancient buildings, tall and thin, or grand and beautiful, the old humans had a thing with the grandness in everything...It seems though that they failed, even if they built such astonishing architectural wonders...I wonder why, did some catastrophy happened during their time?Nuclear war, an asteroid, or some unknown disease?Nobody knows, even the Nightbringers that descended from another world to help us, do not know...We call them Nightbringers because when they come, night comes...They cannot stand light, but that doesn't mean they are evil or bad, though they tend to be grumpy and their laugh is really sinister, but that's all scary about them.Usually they are peaceful beings, troubled with philosophycal questions and sometimes they fight each other in somekind of debates.Perhaps it's time to talk something else...I mean...I don't want the reader of this to get bored, maybe you already know my world much, maybe you're part of it..But maybe you're from the future, or from the past...In my present, the earth is half dark half full of trash....the second half is the legacy from the old humans, the dark half is the legacy of the nightbringers...They brought with them somekind of dark plants and grass, that only grow in the dark, we eat their dark vegetables and purple fruits, they are not really that tasty but they're really healthy...The bad half of the planet, is still inhabited by scavangers and people that are from the bloodline of the old humans, they look really okay, but most of them are greedy and hateful..I wonder if the old humans were like that?Who knows...I forgot to mention, that the Nightbringers brought with them something else, something mortal to normal humans: the orange fungus disease, that doesn't kill us, but it make us lose the ability to procreate.Orange fungus is considered a luxury food on Nightbringer's planet Azuhl, because it has an exotic taste and gives them boosts of power when needed in labour or thought (boost in IQ).But let me return to our story at hand.Being imprisoned still, I'm starting to panic too, I thought about everything, some means to escape this awful prison of silence and suffering...
„This is your dream..." suddenly hearing a familiar voice whispering in my ear...„We forgive you...you never had a choice" and after, again silence...As my body became numb and my eyelids heavy, I noticed how everything in front of me, just dissappears, the room I was imprisoned, Janarus, everything...Falling apart...And then, when it all seemed to be lost, in the midst there was a faint light pulsating tiny sparkles that were like fairy dust.
„This horrid dream is coming to an end...for you saw, only what you needed to see, no more no less.Return to the place where only gods can harm you, feeble gods of love and hatred, selfish and rash, where rational thinking is banished forever in the valley of slumber.Forgotten ages of wisdom torn asunder by a new dawn of gods, that is the way of the world, and these gods that shaped the world are shaped by the human heart....such a fragile thing gives birth to such powerful emotions...Please, for your own sake, forget this lost world to which you belonged long time ago, and return...There is nothing for you here anymore, only sorrow and the shadows that roam the realm of your dreams...And we know, what we ask of you...to abandon your first home, and to move on.Run...please run from this vengeful act of solitude, in the other world, you still have someone to protect...Remember her?She is still waiting you, somewhere out there, right now she's pondering the possible existence of you, her soulmate, a being with which she can share a bond and feel whole for the first time..she is a thinker but still a heavy feeler, like you, but more sensitive, she is the epitome of feminity, and you are an old withered tree with fallen leaves."
I woke up on my sofa...This strange dream left me speechless and nostalgic...What was that all about? What choice?Have I ever had a choice?
