Dear Mrs Mellark,

Due to contrary command, I will have to stop you right there. First of all, I don't believe a lousy, abusive, unhappy mother has the right to tell me how I'm making your son feel. I'm sorry if I didn't let him sit around and let you intimidate him. I'm sorry if I made him happy, anticipating a letter from me each day. I'm sorry if I made him look for me for help, and not you. But, if you couldn't catch the sarcasm, I really am not sorry. If there's anything I'm sorry for, it's him having to put up with you for his whole life.

You know, I'm extremely happy he's gone- even if I never find him again. I know that he will be free for once. Maybe taking joy in something. Oh, if you didn't catch on to his feelings (which apparently I completely have control of) he is depressed. And for reasons you would not understand in your non absorbent brain. Maybe if you tried to be nice for once you would find how vain you truly are.

Wow. That was some aggressive writing...
