Dear Just Katniss,
Four weeks. No letters. I'm going through the toughest time of my life, my mother didn't let me eat a crumb last night, then my dad walked out on us. They don't care. They don't care, just Katniss. But I do. I want to hear about your metaphors, the way you talk about life, how it's worth it. I don't agree in writing, but in real life it helps me more than anything. I hung up all the letters you sent on my wall, hiding a few of my personal favourites in my drawer so my mother will never take them away. I'm waiting here for a letter, and every morning I run outside, taking the letters from the mailman's hand. And every morning I'm dissapointed. I want to see you, just Katniss. I can imagine you standing next to me, your eyes fixtated on whatever is next, whatever you can reach in life. Are you not writing to me on purpose? I'm sorry if I've done something wrong...
I'm still waiting.
From Just Peeta
