I woke up, laying on my back. When I opened my eyes I was blinded for a minute. The sun and blue sky shown above me. I was laying in a metal box and several people were staring down at me. They were all boys. The all looked shocked. "Its a girl.." One said. I tried to think how I got here. Nothing. I had no memory. I couldn't even remember my name. "Gally, help her out." Another guy ordered. The guy Gally, jumped in. "Get away!" I threatened. He raised his hands and I got up. I climbed out onto grass. I looked around. All these boys just stared at me. They all watched me with curious eyes. What was this place? Why was it filled with all boys? I seemed to be the only girl. I needed to get out of here. "There has to be some mistake." Gally whispered to another boy. I got up from the ground and took off running. "We've got a runner!" Some yelled. I heard the boys laugh. "Get her! Don't let her near the maze!" A guy with an accent yelled. I ran as fast as I could. There were trees to my left so I went that way. I'd rather not go towards what they called the maze. I could hear someone close behind me. "Stop running!" He yelled. "Not a chance!" I yelled behind me. I looked behind me for a minute before crashing into something. Actually, someone. "Ow." He mumbled. The boy with the accent. He had blonde hair. He stared back at me with wide eyes. I rolled off him quickly and tried to get up. "Minho stop her!" He yelled as I tried to dart. The boy Minho grabbed me and didn't let go. "Newt! Are you okay?" A guy asked the blonde. He helped Newt up. Minho grabbed my arm and we walked back out of the forest. I tried to shake him free but he was strong. I looked over at Newt. He walked with a slight limp. He looked over at me and tried to hide a smile. We went into a large hut. Everyone else had gathered in here. Newt and Minho went to the front with me. A few other boys were at the front. Including Gally. "This is Alby and these are the other Keepers." Newt told me. Alby nodded to me and some of the boys waved. Gally sat with his arms crossed and a frown on his face. "I called you all here because clearly we need to talk about this. Well, her. Do you remember anything?" Alby said and then asked me. Everyone looked at me. "Maybe your name?" Newt suggested. I shook my head. I wanted to cry. Nothing made sense! Why didn't I know my own name? "It's okay, it happened to us all." Minho told me. Why? "Never has a girl been sent here. I don't know what this means but, I don't want any one bothering her. She's clearly scared and needs to be left alone." Alby warned. No girls? Oh no, I was right. I got up. They all looked alarmed as I ran past the other boys and out the door. This place didn't make sense. Why was I the only girl? Who was I? Why didn't this make sense? There was what looked like a look out tower not far in front of me. I ran to it, climbing up quickly. I sat at the top where I could see everything. And I mean everything. I pulled my legs to my chest. Some of the boys had followed me out but stayed below. I laid on my side and looked out. There were huge walls a distance from me. A maze. "Maybe I should go up." Someone said below me. I leaned over. "Don't you dare come up here! Leave me alone!" I yelled. I saw Newt by the building still. His arms were crossed over his chest and he was smiling at me. I had started to blush and I looked away. Why was I acting like that? I didn't like him. I guess. I moved back and hoped they would just leave. I also hoped Newt wouldn't be able to see me anymore. One by one they started to go. After an hour or so they had left and gone into another building. I could smell food coming from there. Food. When had I last eaten? My stomach growled. "Would you like some food?" A voice yelled to me. I looked over the edge. A boy stood below me. He looked like a little kid. "I'm Chuck!" He said, waving. He held a plate in one hand. "Why do you want to help me?" I asked, slightly suspicious. "Because I know you are hungry. And scared. I was too just a month ago." He explained. I looked down at the food again. He was just a kid, he wouldn't hurt me. I sighed and climbed down. Chuck was much shorter than me. He handed me the plate and I sat down on the ground. I started eating and he sat down across from me. "Do you have a name?" He asked. I shrugged. "That's okay. You will remember soon." Chuck said happily. "Why don't I remember anything?" I asked, shoving more food into my mouth. Man, I was really hunger. Chuck shrugged like me and then laughed. "None of us do." He explained. "Chuck?" Newt called. I started to get up. "No, its okay!" Chuck said. I glared at Newt. "I'm sorry for earlier." Newt said to me. I stopped glaring. He seemed nice and actually sorry. I started to feel...sick. Chuck smiled and left, waving. "There's a celebration starting soon. Come to it, maybe you will remember your name." Newt suggested. I shook my head. Newt looked a bit disappointed. I felt... wrong. Sick. I turned away as I started to feel dizzy. Maybe Newt would just leave me alone, I would hate to throw up on him. I collapsed, everything going dark. I heard muffled yelling then... nothing.
