....

I was the first girl ever in the Glade. I was just like the boys though. I came up in the box one day, no memories, scared, ready to run away. I did run actually. I ran right towards a set of huge cement doors. But, I was caught. I was fast enough that the boys couldn't catch me but the one coming out of the doors, ran right into me. We crashed onto the ground, me, face first into his chest. He groaned and looked up at me. "Woah.." He said. Woah indeed. This boy was like a god. Dark hair and tanned skin, extremely fit. The others had caught up to us and the boy with the accent and blonde hair pulled me up and off the dark haired boy. "You okay Minho?" The blonde asked. Minho. Odd name, but it just worked. "I'm fine Newt. I'll catch up with you later." Minho promised. He looked at me again before jogging away. I turned to the boy, Newt. "Please don't run again, love." He begged me. I looked over my shoulder at the big doors. All I could see was darkness and more walls. Like a Maze. "You really don't want to go in there." Newt said. Cold wind blew through the doors making me shiver slightly. "Lets go talk." Newt suggested. I nodded and followed him back towards the huts and the box I was in. I followed him warily inside one larger hut. Almost all the other boys were crowded in here, some sat at the front in a group. Minho included. Newt ushered me forward to stand by the group and sat behind me. A dark skinned boy stepped forward. "Do you remember your name?" He asked. I thought for a minute and shook my head. I bit my lip nervously. "Thats okay, we have all been there. I'm Alby." He said, holding his hand out to me. I shook it quickly. "Where am I?" I asked. Minho smirked. "She speaks!" A big guy joked. "Slim it Gally." Alby said, rolling his eyes. Gally glared but stayed quiet. "This is the Glade. And those big doors you ran to is the Maze. Only runners like Minho go in there." Alby explained. "Why?" I asked. Minho spoke this time. "To find a way out." He answered. Alby and some of the others nodded. "Now, back to the reason we are here." Alby started. He looked over at me. "You, are the first girl here. Ever." Alby said, he looked to the boys. "No one. And I do mean no one, messes with her. You leave her be or I will toss you into that Maze myself." Alby threatened. The boys nodded. "Go eat." Alby ordered. Most got up and ran out. Newt, Minho and a few others stayed where they were. Alby looked to me. "If you need anything let me know. Or Newt, hes second in command around here." Alby assured me. I nodded again. "I'll show her around." Minho offered. Yes please. Alby looked to Newt and they both nodded. I stood up when Minho did and followed him outside. He showed me the different areas of the Glade.

"Stop pacing, he will be back any minute." Winston assured me. Minho was late coming back today. I had worried everyone else when I started pacing in front of the doors. "Maybe he found a new section today." Chuck suggested. Newt smiled and patted him on the back. "Of course Chuck!" He agreed. Newt knew there was something wrong too. I looked in again just as I saw Minho rounding a corner. He was dragging something though. More like someone. Justin. One of the runners. Minho huffed as he dragged Justin through the doors just before they started to close. I immediately hugged Minho who squeezed me tightly. Clint and Jeff pushed their way through to Justin who was seizing on the ground. "He was stung." Minho explained. With some difficulty they were able to get Justin up and to the Medjacks hut. Minho disappeared into the Deadheads though. I made my way through the trees until I found the hut the runners used. No one except runners were aloud but, since when did I follow the rules? I pushed open the door easily. Minho's head shot up from his hands. "Y/N? Get out! You know the rules!" Minho ordered. I crossed my arms, refusing to leave. Minho huffed. "Why are you so stubborn?" He asked, looking down again. "Minho, what happened?" I asked. Something was bothering him more than usual. "That should have been me! It was coming right at me! Justin jumped out and told me to run, I almost did too. I was just so focused on getting back here to you!" Minho yelled. He kicked a crate in the corner. Me? "Why did you need to come back to me?" I asked, confused a bit. Minho turned to me. He stormed over to me and grabbed my face, kissing me. I froze at first but started to move my lips in sync with his. I had wanted this since that first day when I had crashed into him. He had become my closest friend and I had worried this would never happen. Minho pulled away finally. "I had to come back to you. I love you." He said, his forehead leaning down to mine. "I love you Minho." I said quietly. I kissed him, never wanting it to end. "Let's check on Justin." I suggested. We needed to know if he would be okay. By the time we had made it out of the Deadheads, there was a big group sat outside the med jacks hut. Minho tightly held my hand as we joined the group. "Anything?" Minho asked. Ben shook his head. Minho sat down, pulling me to sit with him, his arms wrapped around me. The others stared, wanting to ask. But they didn't. After awhile, Jeff opened the door. He held his face in his hands. "It didn't work. It just didn't. There was nothing we could do." He said sadly. Jeff just stood there, on the verge of breaking down. I jumped up and hugged him. "We will get through this. I promise." I said to everyone.
That night, Justin was buried out in the Deadheads. Everyone was quiet. Even Gally. I stood with Minho, near the runners. This wasn't their fault, it wasn't Minho's, not even Justin's. This was because of Wicked. We headed back to the homestead. Everyone wanted to just sleep and forget the day. I turned to head to my hammock but Minho stopped me. "Would you sleep with me in my hammock?" He begged. I nodded and followed him. His was off to the side near Newts. We climbed in so I lay in his arms, my head on his chest. I saw Newt smile as he went past. I was making people happy. And right now, they needed that. I was happy.
