Thirty-Four

(9 hours to Graduation)

When we got back to my house Tucker immediately wanted to decorate the cake.
"Tucker calm down" I chuckled
"But I wanna decorate it and then stuff it all in my mouth cause it looks good"
"Okay, okay there's frosting in the cabinet"
He grabbed the frosting and a knife to spread it on.

"Jackie"
"Yeah" as I turned to face Tucker he wiped red frosting on my nose
"Hey now you look like Rudolph" he laughed. I grabbed a spoon of frosting and wiped it on lips.
"Look now you're a girl, oh wait you already were" I smiled
"Awe baby don't be like that" he puckered his lips and came after me.
"Give your wonderful boyfriend a kissy" he said getting close
"Ew no thanks" I said and ran. Tucker ran after me, I ran out the kitchen, through the living room and out the patio doors to the backyard.
"One kiss babe" he said
"No"
I stopped as the pool was in front of me and I didn't want to fall in, I turned and saw Tucker running at me. Before I could move he grabbed my waist tackling me into the pool, I came up to breath and so did Tucker.
"How about a kiss now" he asked
"No I don't like you now" I huffed and started to the side.

"Wait" Tucker said grabbing my shoulder,
"Wh-" he cut me off by kissing me.
When I pulled away he pecked my cheek,
"I love you baby"
"Love you too" I smiled
We got out of the pool and changed out off our wet clothes

(1 hour to graduation)

"Gosh I can't believe this is happening to my little sister and brother" Alex said messing up Chase's hair and hugging me.
"Seems like yesterday chase was picking his nose" Alex sighed
"It was yesterday" I chuckled
"Hey you gotta do what you gotta do" Chase shrugged
We were at our school already getting everything set.

Zach came running over to us with Tucker following behind.
"Save me!" Zach yelled hiding behind my legs.
Tucker came and stopped in front of me and smiled.
"Hey" he said
"Hi" I chuckled
"Hello!" Zach said peeking his head out from behind me.
"Found you little man" Tucker said and grabbed Zach.
"Okay don't hurt the kid" Alex said taking Zach.
"I'm gonna go get him some food and we will be back" Alex said messing up my hair.
"Hey watch the hair" I said as he walked away.

I was fixing my hair when Tucker messed it up again,
"Seriously?"
"Yeah seriously, and it looks fine dork" he said wrapping his arms around my waist And resting his head on my shoulder.
"Hello Hot mama" James said walking up to us.
"Lover boy" he nodded at Tucker
"Hi James" Tucker said
"So what did you guys do when we left?" He asked
"Made a cake" I chuckled
"That's it? No deep meaningful talks?" He asked.
"No..?" I said a bit confused.
James frowned and then walked away.
"What's up with him?" I asked
"I don't know, I'll go see" Tucker said

It's been 15 minutes and Tucker still hasn't come back, I decided to go look for him. I found him leaning against his car, his head was down and his hands were covering his face.
"Tucker"
When I said that he looked at me, his eyes were red and puffy. I walked over to him,
"What's wrong?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck.
He didn't answer he just cried into my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry" he cried
"For what?" I asked
He pulled away and looked at me but he wouldn't meet my eyes.
"I'm sorry" he said and turned and started to walk away.
"Tucker stop! What are you sorry for?!" I asked again
"It was a dare" he stated
"What was a dare?"
"Me dating you"
"What" I asked
"I knew I would fall hard for you, Evan the captain of the football team dared me to ask you out." he said

"So everything was a lie?" I asked as a tear fell.
"No! I love you! I liked you before he dared me to ask you out" he said and wiped away the tear that fell.
"Jackie you are my best friend, the love of my life and the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on, I would do anything for you and I love you so damn much" he cried
"I'm sorry, I gotta go" I stuttered
Before he could stop me I ran off. I stopped at a park near by that was empty and sat on the swing thinking about everything that had just happened. A few minutes later someone took a seat on the swing next to me.
"You know, he really loves you" I looked over and saw the one and only Evan.
"What do you want?"
"I wanted to apologize, I was wrong about you and I mostly dared Tucker to ask you out because I knew he wouldn't do it on his own" he looked at me,
"That's a dick move" I said looking at him
"I know, I said it to encourage him. Other wise he wouldn't ask you out, you know how bad I wanted him to just get over the fear of asking you out and just do it? It was so bad I had to threaten him, just please forgive Tucker. None of this was his fault"

I got up and walked back, the ceremony started in 30 minutes and I still had to go change. As I was walking I saw Tucker standing alone, I thought for a minute and then did something I probably won't regret.
I walked up to him and smashed my lips to his. I could tell he was shocked at first but quickly caught on. I pulled away and rested my forehead on his,
"I'm sorry" I spoke
"But"
"No, I talked to Evan, he only dared you that so you would get over your fear of asking me out. In a way I'm kinda thankful he did" I smiled
"We wouldn't of just kissed if it wasn't for him. Tucker I love you so damn much and I can't lose you" I gripped his shirt.
"I love you" he said cupping my face, then kissing me again.

(Graduation)

We were all called up to get our diplomas and people gave speeches, but the best part out of every was when Tucker got a bloody nose. He ran into a pole, literally, and got a bloody nose. But even better, no one had napkins or anything so he had to use a tampon to stop the blood.
"Oh my gosh, you look so dumb" I laughed,
"Yeah you'll be laughing when I throw  this bloody tampon at you" Tucker sneered
"But you won't because you love me" I smiled
"That's very true"
