Chapter 11: Hey Internet

The next moring you woke up and checked the time on your iPod, it was 7:48, you stretched your legs and back out a little and debated getting out of bed. You were about to fall back asleep when you hear a gentle rapping against the outside of the bunk by your head and a whispered, "Babe, are you awake?" Travis. You roll over to face the curtain and say, "Mmmm, debating it." "If you get up now we have the front lounge to ourse-elves." Travis quietly sing-songed. "What about Vic?" "He slept in the back lounge." Travis answered. "OK, fine," you say as you open the curtain, getting ready to get out of your bunk, "back up a little bit." You slide out of your bunk and you both make your way into the front lounge. Travis turns on the tv and you both sit on the couch cuddling for a while and eat poptarts. 

While you're still sitting there cuddling Charles walked in and got his breakfast. "Hey, lovebirds." he said, teasingly, "When are you guys going to decide on what you're doing with the vlogs? Because I have a feeling after this one goes up, you're going to have to." You both looked at him and each other and he said, "I already edited my side for today, and sent it to Alli. And there are a lot of clips from lunch in there and you both looked really couple-y." "Oooooohhh." you and Travis say at the same time. "We'll be right back." Travis says, and you both run off to grab your laptops. You had both forgotten about telling them that you were dating and hadn't scrolled through the comments for the past few days. So you both sat there looking at the comments of the four vlogs you had missed, and reliving some of the moments from those days. 

Finally you got to the end of the vlogs you had missed/hadn't read the comments on and look up at Charles, still the only other person in the room and say, "We sucked at trying to hide it." with a laugh. He said, "Just a little bit." laughing too. "Alright, let's do this thing." Travis says. "Umm, guys," Charles says, "you're still wearing your pajammas and look like you just woke up. Do you want to fix that orr...?" You turn a little pink when you realize he's right and say, "Good call, Charles." and run off to grab the extra outfit you had in your bunk as well as your toothbrush and toothpaste and run into the bathroom to change and brush your teeth. After you finish and while Trav is changing and brushing his teeth you run a brush through your hair and try to make your eyes look more awake. 

Finally  you're both ready and Charles takes you into the back lounge, Vic and most everyone else on the bus are awake and in the front lounge, and you need a quiet space to film. You and Travis sit down on the couch and Charles starts recording as he walks in and shuts the door saying, "Hey Internet, so um, *your name* and Travis want to tell you guys about something." And with that he turns the camera your way and crouches down, so that you're in the frame. Self-consciously you flip stray strands of hair around your face, trying to figure out where they go and look over to Travis. He clears his throat and says, "Ok, guys, so umm...we have an announcement to make...I guess." He side glances towards you before continuing, "You see...*your name* and I are dating." "Yeah," you say, "It's been official, at least for us, since April, when we went out to lunch with Charles, Alli, Danny, and Sam." Travis continued, "We just figured that, since this entire community is sort of like a ginormous extended family, you guys needed to know. So yeah, we're dating." he ended with a smile. 

Charles ended the clip there and you and Travis let out a huge breath, which you hadn't realized that you had been holding. "Well, that was fun." Charles said, laughing at how nervous you both looked. "So this will be online tomorrow, unless you want me to throw it on the iPhone channel right now?" "No, no, tomorrow's vlog is fine." you say, deciding to stick to what you and Trav had decided last week, that putting it in a vlog would feel more official than an iPhone video. "Alright," Charles says, "so, ready to continue with today?" "You bet." Travis says, wrapping an arm around you and kissing you as all three of you walk into the front lounge.
