Upon entering the front lounge, Travis walks over to Scooter and Danny and Charles goes to talk to Nerd Rock. You look around for a minute before your eyes land on Vic, sitting alone on the bench and eating toast. You decide to go talk to him, since everyone else had their own conversations going. You sit down and say hello and you both start talking about the city you were going to be in today, which you think is Houston.

While you were talking you felt the bus slow down and pull over into the right shoulder of the highway and come to a stop. Scooter stepped out of his conversation with Travis and walked off the bus to talk to the driver. Travis looked over at you and Vic for a second before walking over to Charles, Danny and Nerd Rock. You and Vic acknowledge the weirdness of the way Trav had been acting when you and Vic were around each other, and then continue with your conversation. Five minutes later Scott comes back on the bus and says that the radiator had overheated and that you'd be stuck there for at least thirty minutes while it cooled down. Everyone groans and you pull out your iPod and open up the weather app, just to look at what the weather was now. Despite the giant storm yesterday, which may have not passed through Houston, you think to yourself as you look in awe at the temperature, it was 92* and it was only 9:30.

You and Vic start plotting a party for after tonight's show and as you plot you both get closer together and Vic ends up placing his arm around your shoulder. You both continue talking for a few minutes until there is the sound of a throat being cleared, you both look up to see Travis, standing pretty much right on top of you. You and Vic suddenly realize how close together you were and that Vic's arm was around you. You both pull apart until there's a good four inches between both of you. "Cozy conversation?" Travis asks, his tone slightly menacing, which was rather startling. You shrink up at the sound of his voice and say, "We were just planning a party for tonight." "Oh really, is that all you were planning. Because the way you were both snuggled up together seems to say otherwise." he says coldly. You feel your throat start to thicken like you're about to cry and get up and quickly walk away before you start cry and then climb into your bunk as the tears start to fall.

*VIC'S POV*

"Travis, what the hell dude?" I said as *your name* walked off. "You just really upset your girlfriend." Travis looked off in the direction she had just gone and then bitterly said, "Well, it seems like she'd rather be around you than me anyway, so why don't you go after her." "Whoa, dude," I replied, "There is nothing between me and *your name* we're just friends, and we're on the same tour, we can't just not talk to each other. You're not like this with any of the other guys, is this because of her telling me what was wrong yesterday?" Travis sighed after he listened to what I said and then said, "I'm sorry Vic, I really don't know what it is. I guess yesterday may be part of it, and I'm just so scared of losing her. She's really something special, but I feel like I don't deserve her, so I'm scared of her leaving me for someone better, I guess." "And you saw me as someone better?" I asked him, confused. "I don't know, maybe in her eyes yeah, I really don't know what's gotten into me." he replied. "Well, trust me, *your name* would never do that to you. I may not know her that well, but I know her enough to know that. She really loves you, and I have a feeling she's scared to lose you too." I told him. "Oh...ok." he said, "I'm so sorry about this Vic." "Hey, I've already forgiven you, now you need to go talk to your girlfriend." I said, giving him a smile. "Yeah, ok, thank you so much Vic. I swear this won't happen again." Travis said as he stood up and started walking away. "Good luck." I called to him as he walked out of the room. He gave me a wave to acknowledge that he heard.

*TRAVIS' POV*

"Babe?" I whispered, knocking against the wood at the head of her bunk, for the second time this morning, this time less happy than the first. There wasn't any response. Carefully I pulled back the curtain and peeked in, only to have the curtain jerked back. I stood there for a second and was about to give her some time and climb into my bunk when I heard a muffled sob. "Babe." I whispered again, "I'm so sorry about what I said earlier, and how it was said. I don't know what was wrong with me. I didn't want to hurt you, please let me explain." Finally she slid her curtain open and I sat down in her bunk, gently pulling her near to me. She looked up at me and I saw that her face was covered in tears and I had to blink back tears of my own, so upset with myself for having had made her cry. I pulled her into my chest and rubbed her back gently for several minutes.

Finally she looked up and said, in a shaky voice, "So, when are you going to explain." I held her tightly as I told her what I had said to Vic. Once I finished she was silent for several minutes. "Travis..." she finally said, "You know I love you more than anything. I'm scared to lose you too. And I feel like I'm the one that should have that fear more than you do. You're the lead singer of a famous band, and I'm just...me." I took in what she said and replied, "You being just you is enough to captivate me, and that's why I'm scared to lose you I think. What I'm scared of is someone else trying to get your attention, and maybe that someone succeeding, and then he'd have you and not me." "Travis, nobody else can get my attention in that way, you have all of it." she said and then gave me a kiss. We sat there kissing for a bit and I dried the tears from her face. She rested her head on my shoulder and I rested my head on top of hers as the bus restarted and pulled back onto the highway. I pressed my lips to the top of her head as she burrowed more into my shoulder. We stayed like this for a while and when the bus finally stopped at the venue, at 11:05, *your name* was asleep in my arms, again, and I was happy.
