Hello, here I am with a teaser of Chapter 25: Never Let Me Go. I'm nearly done with the chapter, and hopefully will be able to post it next Friday, the 9th of October. I'd really like to thank all of you for your generous support and I hope you will enjoy this short preview which I've prepared from the current chapter which is still a work in progress~
Thank you!

"I promise," Yukino-kun had said. "I promise I won't ever let you go."
Yukino-kun let me go from his embrace, and I found myself looking directly into his soft hazel eyes. His lips curled up into a smile, the faint rays of the faraway winter sun lighting up his face.
"I won't be able to bear being apart with you," he said to me. "You're really precious to me."
"Me too," I replied.
Yukino-kun and I continued our walk down the harbour. The cries of the distant seagulls echoed in the horizon. The breeze brought with it the frosty chill of winter. For once, I was glad that I had something snug and warm to cover my head.
"Yukino-kun," I said to him after a while. "Are you really okay with me going to Sapporo?"
"What do you mean?" the boy asked, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Well," I said, fidgeting with my fingers. "I mean, I'll be away for a long while. . . You know, I've thought this through for a very long time. I'm really sorry that I didn't tell you about my decision earlier."
Yukino-kun cocked his head to the side.
"If I always tried to get what I want, then things won't go anywhere now would they?" the boy said.
I could only nod my head in silence. I had thought that he would react more strongly to the news, but I guess he too had matured and was more accepting to how the world was. I was glad that he understood that I too had plans and aspirations for my future. At least with things like this, I was somewhat more confident that Yukino-kun and I can survive a long distance relationship.
"That's how the world works, I guess," I replied. "You can't get everything you want. But when you do, you should grab hold to it and never let it go."
"I see," the boy chuckled. "You're always saying all these kinds of things."
"I just say whatever I feel," I said, twirling a strand of my hair on my index finger. "It's nothing special."
The boy laughed and we continued on our trek to nowhere. I asked Yukino-kun whether he wanted to move on to somewhere else, but he said that he was fine where we were. As we walked, I decided to grab onto Yukino-kun's sleeve. The boy didn't seem to mind.
"It's nice and quiet," he said. "I prefer it that way."
"You seem to like those kind of places," I commented. "Remember when you took me to that place behind the observatory when we were in the second year? The one where you showed me the pretty view?"
"Oh," the boy chuckled. "That place was really nice."
"Of course it was," I said. "The lights were really pretty. Just like the lights in Sapporo."
"Well," Yukino-kun said. "At least you can get a nice view every now and then if you climb up Mount Moiwa."
"I won't have time for that," I giggled. "It'd be really nice if I got to though."
