So here we are in a van, on our way to destroy this thing of Lexus and end his plans once and for all, I hope. By the way, Susan speaking, I'm gonna narrate this chapter because I feel like it, Alex has way too much credit.
"So where we headed?" Asked James in the middle of nowhere.
"Niagra Falls, I believe he's hiding the artefact there. Two years of research this must work." Michael replied, that's what I'm supposed to call him I don't-
"And what makes you think he's hiding there?" Alex asked, he thinks he's some hero.
"There have been sightings nearby of how he enters the place so I presume it's there."
We exited from the tunnel and there it is, Niagra Falls, I don't find things beautiful but this I'll make an exception. We stopped at the parking lot and got out
"Sorry sir but you and your kids can't go beyond this point it is strictly off limits." Said a guard wearing a really stupid uniform.
So basic me burns his face off, pretty I know, "keep talking asshole."
I turn around and everyone gives me this wild look as if they've just seen a naked ghost, "what?"
They look at each other and shrug. "Water, this is my time to shine" says Alex
Alex was performing some Moses trick and split the water into two making a pathway towards the waterfall. And so we walked across the muddy surface.
As we got closer the waterfall opened up and a doorway showed leading probably to this monkey's lair. The door opened slowly allowing us to walk through, but there is no artefact.
"Disappointed are you?" Said an unfamiliar voice above us, down came some guy in a robe and a red mask.
"Lexus..." Said Michael
"I'm not surprised Mr. King, it took you guys so long to find me well," his laugh was as ugly as his mask, "I guess I have to spill some truth out."
Lexus grabbed his mask and took it off revealing his true identity... No this can't be...
James stepped forward with eyes wide open and his jaw to the floor, he says in a soft voice "Dad?"
