Chapter 5

I ran to the park as fast as I could hoping Michael wouldn't follow me. I saw Calum standing by a tree on his phone. I ran up to him and he looked up from his phone. He pulled me in for a hug.

"Morgan what happened?" He asked concerned

"It-it" I couldn't even speak

"What is it? Morgan you have to talk if you want me to help you" he rubbed circles on my back

"M-mi" I still couldn't speak

"Calum!" I heard a voice call, he sounded angry I spun around to be met with an angry Michael.

"Go away! Right now!" Calum yelled. He just laughed and stepped closer. I took off running but I didn't run home I ran the opposite direction ignoring Calum's calls for me to come back.

Calum's pov
"What did you say to her" I barked

"It's not your business now look we need you to ask her out"

"It is my business she was crying so much she couldn't even speak"

"Did you even hear what I said" he yelled

"I'm not asking her out because you want me to"

"Well your going to do it anyways" he smirked and walked away.

I liked Morgan a lot but in a friendly way. But I knew what Michael would do if I didn't ask her out so I ran to her house. Her dads car was in the drive way.

"Hello" he said when he opened the door

"Um hello is Morgan here?"

"May I ask your name"

"Calum"

"Well Calum Morgan hasn't come home yet she had to go to work after school I'll give you the address" he wrote it down on a piece of paper I thanked him and ran to the music store where she worked.

Morgan pov
I didn't go to work that night I went to see my mom in the hospital.

"Hey mom" I said with a small smile

"Morgan don't you have work"

"Mom your more than important than work" I stays there about 2 hours before leaving and walking home.

"Dad I'm home"

"Hey sweetheart a boy named Calum stopped by today do you know him?"

I nodded "yeah dad he's my friend" he smiled and I went upstairs

At school the next day I was walking with Sofia when we saw Calum.

"Hey Calum my dad said you came over yesterday"

He nodded "uh yeah I need to asked you something but it can wait"

"Ok and by the way this is Sophia" I said gesturing towards Sophia they said hi and we started walking towards class

I saw Morgan and Sophia and talked to Calum after first class I decided to have a little chat with Sophia.
