Chapter 23

Morgan's pov
The rest of the day consisted of me hiding from Luke and Michael giving him death glares every time we passed him in the halls.

"We're all going to my place after school" Ashton said while we walked out of school. Luke of course wasn't going. I'm pretty sure we all hated him now. I lightly touched my cheek where he hit me and winced. It hurt a lot. Michael noticed and took my hand, lacing his fingers with mine and placing them on his lap. He ghosted his lips over my cheek. I looked down to hide my blush and smiled. I listened to everyone talking until there was a knock at the door.

Michaels pov
Someone knocked on the door and Morgan got up to answer it, since she was the only one not talking. She opened the door and gasped. I look over and saw her eyes filled with fear. Luke appeared next to her with a sickening smirk. He walked past Morgan and sat next to Ashton, as Morgan sat next to me. She grabbed my forearm causing me to look at her. "Why is he here" she whispered so only I could here. "I don't know but he won't hurt you I'll always protect you" I said kissing her cheek.

"Let's watch movies in my room" Ashton suggested we all nodded and followed him upstairs. Ashton and Calum sat on his bed while I leaned against the bed with Morgan in between my legs. Luke of course had to sit right next to us. I felt Morgan tense up when he sat down. I hated seeing her scared. I hated when she was afraid of me. After that I never wanted her to be scared again. But that didn't work. We watched a movie and decided to leave since it was getting late.

Ashton and Calum walked out first, leaving me with Morgan and Luke.  I could see how scared Morgan was. I walked out with her in front of Luke.

"I forgot my phone I'll be right back" I said going back into his room. I heard a loud bang and someone crying. I ran out and saw Morgan at the bottom of the stairs.

"Did you push her" I yelled at Luke. The smirk told me all I needed to know. I was at the bottom of the stairs in seconds. I dropped next to Morgan and cradled her in my arms.

"I-it's hurts Michael" she whimpered.

"What hurts baby"

"M-my f-f-foot"

"Can you bend it" Ashton asked and she shook her head.

"It might be broke we have to go to the hospital" Calum piped in. I nodded and stood up with her in my arms.

"I-i don't want to go to the hospital" she cried into my chest when we got into the car.

"I know I'm sorry but we have to it kills me to see you in pain" I said stroking her hair.

We arrived at the hospital and I carried her inside. The doctors took X-rays and we waited anxiously for the result.

"We have the results" the the doctor said returning.
