Chapter 1: First Day

Dipper's POV

"You ready yet, Dipper?" I heard Mabel yell.

"Almost!" I yelled back.
Today was my first day of High School. I wanted to look good.

As I was looking at myself in the mirror I noticed something odd behind me. I turned around. There was nothing. That was weird I thought. I decided to let that go because Mabel was rushing me.

I finally found the perfect clothes to wear.

I looked at myself in the mirror and approved. I went into the bathroom, combed out my hair a bit, and ran to Mabel.

As I walked down the hallway I heard gruncle Stan whistle.

"Who are you trying to impress?" Mabel said.
I blushed and smiled.

"Lets go now." I said.
I grabbed my backpack, swung it over my shoulder and headed out the door.
Our school was 8 miles away, so gruncle Stan drove us.

When we arrived at school, we were 10 minutes early. I looked up at the school. It had white concrete walls with some texture.

When I walked inside it was buzzing with noise, which was surprising, considering the size of the school.

"Wow!" I heard Mabel mumble.

"Do you know where our lockers are?" I asked a teachers as she was passing by.

"What is your last name?" she asked.

"Pines." Mabel said.

"Hmm... Okay, Pines." she said looking at her list.
"Your locker number is 57 Dipper, and Mabel your locker number is 59." she said.

"Thank you." I said as I headed to my locker.

"Come on Mabel."

She followed me to our lockers.

"54...55...56...Aha! 57! I found mine!" I said to Mabel.

As I was opening my locker I heard it get really quiet and I heard gasps.

I looked up, wondering what was going on.
I stood and looked in awe at what I saw.
