Chapter 4: Where Is Mabel?

Dipper's POV

I looked and looked for Mabel. I was really scared. I don't know what to do.
I got out my phone. Still nothing.

I decided to walk home.

I stepped outside of the school and crossed the road.

It had green grass on the ground. I kicked through the grass.

I walked about a mile and then I heard Mabel's voice.

"Help! Someone HELP!!!" She screamed.

"Mabel? Is that you?" I yelled back.

"Dipper? Help!"

She kept yelling and I followed her voice. The grass was getting longer as I walked.

Then I saw her in the middle of the long grass. She had ropes tied on her hands and feet. She had cuts and bruises on her arms and legs.

"What happened?" I asked as I tried to untie the rope.

I couldn't get the rope off. I got the pocket knife out and cut the rope.

Finally, I got it untied.

"Dipper! Thank you!"

"Your welcome. Now, tell me what happened." I said.

"Well, I was walking to my 6th period on the other side of the campus and some guy wearing all black grabbed me. I tried to scream but no one heard me because I took the back way because it was the fastest way to get to my 6th class and I only had two minutes left. Then, he grabbed me, put something on my mouth so I couldn't scream. He tied my arms and legs up and dragged me here. I managed to get the thing off my mouth and I was screaming for a long time and the then you came." Mabel said.

"Wow." I replied in shock.

Mabel was smiling. She was so bright all the time.

"We have to find who did that to you. The person had to do it for a reason." I said.

I gave her my jacket to cover her cuts and bruises. We saw a bus and waved.
The bus stopped and we got on. We walked to the back of the bus.

"Who could that be?" I asked.

"Well, whoever did that must have something against me." Mabel said.
I looked out the window. It was the person in all black.
