Chapter Five: Questions and Awareness

Jorden's POV

I sighed in relief, she was fine Lupin gave her some chocolate when she started to come to. I hugged her while calling her an idiot. She apologize as usual I then sneezed,I saw that it was that cat. We were about to leave but I then told Lupin that I wanted to talk to him later then we left to go to our own compartment I notice some of the kids were changing into their robe so I told Tiger to change as well. She told me to step out I asked her why. It wasn't like I never seen her naked before. She then blushed and told me that she starting to get bigger. It took me a second to realize what she was talking about,when that happened I wasn't sure if I should be,disgusted,protective or be laughing at this. So I choose all three. "Agh gross. One your my cousin. Two. Even if you're adopted I see you as a sister. Three,I will kill anyone that gets a mile close to you that has a dick. And Four,I've seen your ass naked so much I can have a stripper pole named after me." I said in one breath but once I was done she was red as a tomato. "Jorden! Did you have to say that?" She screamed at me embarrassed I grinned then said, "Well who else can tell you about that birthmark on your ass?" I asked while leaving the compartment. Three,two and...Jorden! "Aww,I miscalculated." I mumbled to myself. I then got ready in the bathroom. The train then stopped for the last time. I saw Tiger coming out, "Lets go." She told me with smile. I nodded then we left.

                                                                                     Tiger's POV

We were riding in the carriages I saw a creature that looked liked a walking horse skeleton with an odd face. I looked over to Jorden but he staring at it like he was in some kind of trace. "Jorden? I called,worried about him. He snapped his head toward me his face then soften when he saw that it was me. Jorden are you alright?" He said, "Yeah, just thinking." I then decided to change the subject, "Um, Hey,What are those things?" I pointed towards the front of the carriage. His eyes got wide. "Wait,you can see them?" He ask in a surprised tone. "Y-Yeah why?" I asked scared he sighed then told me in a sad tone. "Tiger, those "things" are called Thestrals and you can only see them... He paused as if collecting his thoughts, then said, If you seen somebody died." I gasped it looked as if he wanted to talk some more but the Thestals stopped we were already at the castle instead he told me that we'll talk about this later then left to sit with the teachers while I sat with the Hufflepuffs. When they announced the new teachers,I clapped the loudest for my cousin and Hagrid. After dinner I walked up to them,I didn't see my cousin or the other teacher so I assumed that they are or the other went to bed. I saw that Hermione and the boys were up there too. We told Hagrid congratulations and such then I felt two familiar arms hook me up then dragged me away. "Does this ever get tiring for you two?" I asked in mock despair. "Nope,because this never gets old." They told me at the same time like usual. I sighed then asked, "Can you at least tell me where we're going?"  "Sorry,we can't." Started one. "Because it's a surprise." said the other I just sighed and waited. Suddenly we stopped, I looked up it was the dungeons. "Why are we here?" I asked confused. "Because we're going to prank Snape good." "Why?" I asked they looked at me if I was mad, "Because he's the horriblest teacher here!" "First of all,I don't think that's even a word and second,two wrongs don't make a right. "We don't care." They told me. "What if it backfires?" They looked at me then laughed, "We're pranking experts." "Well,I thought then said,What if he comes in?" "Then stand watch." "W-What?" They then stick me outside then told me to cough two times if I see him. I just sighed and hoped he didn't came at all. It felt like an hour then I heard a voice say, "Wake up." I opened my eyes to see Professor Snape eye to eye with me, I must have fell asleep. I thought in fear. "What are you doing sleeping outside the classroom,Miss Hohnsen?" "I-I, I stuttered I had forgotten the warning sign. I-um wanted to ask you a question Professor." "It couldn't have waited until the morning?" "No! I yell as he tried to open the door. I-I mean no i-it can't because...I-I have to tell a friend the answer later tonight." "Well, what is it?" He asked looking annoyed. "U-Um,W-What's your dream girl?" I said quickly he then looked at me as if he could get away with murder I now remembered the warning sign, I coughed two times. He then asked if I was feeling well, I answered, "That it would be best if went back to my dormitory." He then told me that still he wanted to see me in class tomorrow then we each left. I then heard laughter from behind me. "You seriously asked him that?" One said. "I'm surprised that he didn't give her a detention for just sleeping there." The other said in return. "So why did you asked that question?" They asked at the same time. "I-I don't know? I couldn't think of anything to say at the time. Besides where have you two been?" "Watching the whole thing." They answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Well you two could have woken me up. Where were you two anyways?" One began, "Well we had just finish the prank. When we found you sleeping on the job." "That's not funny." I told them. The other then picked up. "Well we're about to wake you when we heard someone coming this way." "So we hid." They said last part at the same time. I sighed then told them, "Well i'm going to bed." "Goodnight." They told me as we split to walk our separate ways.

         Remus's POV

I didn't have a clue to why he wanted to talk to me but if remember one thing from my years as Hogwarts student that helped me was to never trust Jorden Hohnsen. I remember our first conflict with him. I was sitting at the Gryffindor table at lunch and the other Marauders and I were talking about a prank or class or something, I really don't recall but I saw him walking up to Lily Evans. James and Sirius started to listen into their conversation,he started to call Lily names. Snape started to yell at him then Sirius started to harass Snape while James tried pick a fight with Hohnsen, I tried to break it up but Peter was in the way. All of a sudden we started to have a muggle fight, James,Sirius and Peter were beaten up so bad that they had stay at the hospital wing. Snape and I were fine enough to go only to leave the hospital wing later. While Hohnsen only had some cuts and bruises on him. I snapped out of my thoughts after I heard my name being called I turned around to see him standing there. "Hello Hohnsen. I greeted. What do you need me for?" He sighed then said, "I want to tell you that I have changed and to ask you for a favor." I was unsure but asked, "What kind of favor?" "Please,don't tell Tiger of my past and please don't mention her." I felt pity for him but sighed then said, "I promise as long as you do not revert to your old ways but she will find out eventually. That's not something you can keep hidden." "I can keep trying!" He told me with a raise voice as he left I thought I heard him mutter, "Thank You,Lupin." At this I begin to think, Maybe he did change? Then left for my own room.
