Chapter Eight: My New Friend is a Murderer

It's October and i've been talking to that man for a while now, He's really nice. I try bring him food when I can, we talk during my free period sometimes when I don't go to taking care of magical creatures with Hagrid. Speaking of which, i'm talking to him right now. "So sir,why are you here?" He then told me, "I need to find a rat who destroyed my life." When he said this to me he had a sad but serious expression on his face so I asked him, "Why do you want revenge so bad?" He looked at me frowning then sighed telling me, "Well, when I went to school here I made some friends and they got trouble with some people then died because they trust the wrong person's advice." "Who's was it?" I asked unsure if I overstepped my boundaries. "You ask a lot of questions,don't you? What house are you,anyways?" "I am a Hufflepuff." I said proudly he laughed then said to me, "I'm surprised you're not a Ravenclaw with all of the questions." I smiled then said, "Jeez mister,what house were you in?" "Don't call me mister. You're making me feel old and I was a Gryffindor." He said the last part in joy I laughed telling him, "You sound like my cousin when said that." "What?" "That thing about being old." "What's your cousins name?" "What's yours?" He rolled his eyes, "You go first." "No you." "Ladies first." "I insist." We then looked at each other then started laughing. He then told me, "I'll tell you my name if you promise to keep visiting me." "Deal." We shooked on it. Sirius Black. At that moment I remembered something my cousin told me when we watching the television a news bulletin flashed on he told me to keep away from Sirius Black or he'll kill me. When I snapped out of it I asked him, "Tell me the truth did you kill all those people?" He looked at me in surprise then anger and finally sadness he finally said to me, "In a way I did because I followed him-" "Who?" I asked confused I then heard him mutter, "I forgot who I was talking to. Peter Pettigrew, He was a friend until he betrayed us." "How did he betrayed you? What do you mean by us?" Questions kept flying out of my mouth faster than he could answer them he then said, "Calm down I'll try to answer all of your questions,okay? I nodded my head and waited for him to continue, he started again, My best friend and his wife died that day. I'll never forget it. They had two children,even while in hiding they were always so happy. They're names were James and Lily Potter." My eyes went wide, because if I was correct then those Harry's parents and worst of all that might even be that lady I dreamt about a year ago. I focus back on the story, he told me how all three of friends excluding him were illegal animagi to help out a friend who was a werewolf. I thought that was sweet of them all. He then told me how he came face to face with Peter,but the coward ran off. Leaving him to blame as the traitor and to go to Azkaban in his place. Once he was done, I asked, "How did you escaped?" he laughed while telling me, "The demeanors are blind. I was able to slip past the bars in my dog form or wolf" while winking at me. "S-Shut up. I said while blushing in embarrassment. I only thought that because you were way too big to be a normal dog." "Well I told you my name and who I am. Now tell me your cousins name." I smiled, "A deal's a deal. His name is Jorden Hohnsen,Do you know him?" He looked at me in shock at which I didn't like then said, "We know each other at the least." "What do you mean by that?" I asked upset he then changed the subject by saying, "Hey,let's go for a walk." "Okay." I said in defeat as we got closer to edge of the forest he change in to a dog. I smiled, "You should meet my puppy,Farren. Come on,boy." He looked at as if to say seriously? We then passed a corridor leading to a bathroom he then looked reluctant at first but went in. I told him, "I'll be right back." Then left him in one of the stalls as well as leaving a note for Myrtle telling her that someone put something in there as I went to the common room I saw a familiar snake with a rat in his mouth. I ran towards him grabbing his tail then grabbed his body to prevent him from escaping. "Spit him out." I told him he glared at me as if asking why should I. Then I said, "You asked for it." I walked to the DADA classroom to my surprise Harry answered the door he looked at me in shock then asked, "Why are you feeding Scabbers to your cousins snake!" "I didn't he thought it would be funny to scare the daylights out of Ron. Now can you help me?" "Uh sure,What do you need help with." I turned to Professor Lupin asking him, "Can I borrow this table?" "You may but why?" "You'll see,Harry I need you to stand right here- I showed him a few paces away from the table, and be ready to catch something." I told them while getting on a chair they both looked at me if I was crazy then I landed on the back of the snake causing him to spit out Scabbers. Harry caught him and professor Lupin was impress he asked, "How did you knew that would happen?" "Prior knowledge,sir. I used to get all my toys this way when I was younger." "But why does he still like you?" Harry asked unsure,I smiled then said,He always gets over it. Then I left but from the corner of my eye I saw Professor Snape give Professor Lupin a potion I then went to the common room grabbed Farren then left to Myrtle's bathroom. When I got there Myrtle was crying, "What happened?" "That cousin of yours join Peeves for arousing game of who can make Myrtle cry. Her voice dripped with tears and sarcasm,By the way he won." I frowned then sighed, "I'm sorry Myrtle but I know two people who can help." "Who?" "The Weasley twins." "Good idea but what if it doesn't work?" "I can control my cousin. Don't worry about it." "Thank you,Tiger." "What are friends for?" She then left go to another bathroom. "So your friends with Moaning Myrtle?" He asked me after he changed back. "Well, we met here last school year and we became fast Friends. Anyway,this is Farren." "Why the name Farren?" "We were eating lunch while getting my school supplies when she found me. I smiled at the memory,She came at me like a lost child. I knew she was the right one for me. I had to beg Jorden to let me keep her but it was worth it." "I see. He said while nodding his head. So tell me what year are you in? I am a second year." He gave me a questionable look but said nothing, "So I asked, Why are you here at Hogwarts?" "I want to see my godson." He told me sheepishly. "Who is it?" "Harry Potter." "Oh, I said then asked, "Does he know?" "No and hopefully i'm the one who tells him." I shook my head in agreement. "Me too. I told him. I then notice the time, I have to go otherwise my cousin will worry about me." He sighed then said, "Alright but if you ever get lonely or have another break you can at the forest just give a whistle or call me wolfy." "B-Be quite. I told him while blushing then said, Please be careful,Sirius." "I'm always careful. I gave him a look. Fine, i'll try harder than usual just for you. "See you later Tiger." Then left no sooner after I left I saw everyone walking to the great hall I had stopped a student to ask what was going on he told me that Sirius Black had tore up the fat lady's portrait. "Didn't you hear?" He asked as I shook my head no, "Well we're going to the great hall for protection in case he's still here,see ya." He then left for the great hall but in my case I went somewhere else, the forest, I needed to talk to him. As soon as I whistled a black wolf like dog appeared, "Hi Sirius." He pulled my sleeve as if to tell me to follow him. I nodded and went with him deeper into the forest. When we went into a sort of clearing he transformed. "Sorry to lead you so far away but I can't risk being seen." I frowned then said, "You didn't. Please tell me you didn't? He sighed then said, "If I said no then that would be a lie. I'm sorry,Tiger." "Why?" I asked almost in tears. "Because I spent almost thirteen years in Azkaban and i'm not going back until i've had my revenge with Peters blood to prove it!" I started tearing up at this point, "If that's what you want so bad then do it but i'm going back to the castle. Don't worry I won't tell anyone about you." Then I ran leaving him there alone.

Sirius POV

I was speechless at what Tiger said to me,for a moment there she sounded like- I shook my head, get a hold of yourself man. Now where could Tiger be? I thought to myself then it came to me. I transformed then went looking for her with a plan in mind.

Jorden's POV

I was walking around the kids they were talking but I let them because I was cool like that and I was also looking for my cousin. I suddenly saw Severus arguing with Lupin so I went over the them, "Hey,have you two lovebirds seen Tiger? I can't find her anywhere." I asked as Severus gave me a dirty look to which I just chuckled silently at as for Lupin he said, "Not since this afternoon, have you?" Asking Severus. "No." "That's odd. Are you sure checked every row thoroughly." I rolled my eyes then said, "Yes captain obvious. If I didn't do that then why would I be asking you two rejects?" Things were about to get personal but Mcgonagall made sure nothing happened. I then asked her if she had seen Tiger but I got the same answer as those two,No. I was getting frustrated,Where the fuck was she? And more importantly is she alright?

Tiger's POV

It was official. I was lost, I didn't know where the castle was and the worst part,I was scared and alone. I kept hearing things from the forest I didn't know if they were magical or not but I didn't want to meet them. I sat down taking a break suddenly I heard a twig break I jumped in fear. I tried to slow my breathing but I didn't know what was out there the I heard my name being called out, "Tiger?" "Y-Yes?" I stuttered scared a man stepped out I took a breath of relief, it was Hagrid. "Hagrid!" I ran up to him happily hugging him. He led me to his house where I spent the night on the couch. He did asked me why I was in the forest of death I answered him by telling him that I sometimes go on walks on clear days but on this day I had gotten lost. He nodded in understanding telling me to be more careful then I remembered something, "Hagrid?" "Yes Tiger?" "Why did you call me by my middle name when I first came here?" He looked embarrassed then answered, "Well, you look-Er have certain characters that resemble a young witch I knew that was named Lily." I gave him a small smile then said goodnight, in the morning I left for the castle because I was sure all hell was broken lose over my disappearance thanks to a certain cousin of mine.
