Chapter Sixteen: Leaving with a Special Note

The next day everybody was at Hogsmend but Harry,Ron,Hermione and I since I could not go yet. I saw Jorden walk by he looked really mad. He then told us that Professor Snape had told all the Slytherins about Professor Lupin being a werewolf and now he was resigning his post as our DADA teacher. Harry and I ran as fast as we could to his office but he it looked as if had only a few more things to pack. "Don't go!" I yelled but he gave me a sad smile. Harry tried to get him to stay but he was afraid that he would attack another student if he did. I told him, "Professor, you didn't hurt me and I was the closest one to you after you transformed." "But I-" "No, werewolf or not you are still a kind person whether you don't believe it that's fine but I do." I then put my hands in my pockets when I realized something I then took out a napkin, "Here,I found this in my jacket pocket among others." He took it and began to read as he did tears fell from his eyes he then hugged me. Harry suddenly asked If his father's animagus form was a stag to which professor Lupin replied with a yes before he left for his carriage with Dumbledore he gave Harry back his cloak and map. Harry then left but before I could leave he stopped me by telling me, "Wait Tiger, I have something for you." "What is it?" I asked confused as to why would he have something for me? He then took out a tattered copy of "The Tragedy of Hamlet By William Shakespeare." I looked at him in wonder as he explained, "I meet one of my best friends by lending out that book. With a sad smile continuing, but in this case I want you to have that book read it the story is very captaining." he told me while leaving. At the feast me cousin made me sit with him I blushed in embarrassment as a lot of the student were looking at me. It was announce that the Griffindors had won the house cup and the Quidditch cup. I clapped along with everyone then I saw Professor Snape giving Jorden a large sum of money I frowned at this before walking to Professor Dumbledore asking, "Is that allowed?" While motioning towards my cousin. "Yes, as long as it's for fun and nobody gets hurt." I sighed he smiled telling me, "Mr.Hohnsen has made many mistakes in this school but from what I have seen he always has a way to give someone he loves a smile when they need one." "Hey Tiger, are you ready to go?" I smiled nodding my head saying, "Yes, I just need to go to the common room and grab my things." I told him, "Well wait for me I know you can't carry them all." He said with a laugh as I went in while in there I saw Farren was sitting by my bags waiting for me I patted her head then dragged my things to the entrance Jorden helped carry my trunk while I carried a carry-on type bag along with Farren's things. We sat on the train with Harry and the others after we dropped our stuff off Hermione just finish telling them something when we came in, "Oh right, you all get silent because a teachers here." "Jorden, you know that they are still talking right?" I asked him when he said that. "Aww. Anyways what's going on kids?" "Well my family and I are going to Quidditch World Cup." "No way! But aren't they expensive?" "My father got the tickets at work." Ron told us I nodded while Jorden started snickering, "What's so funny?" Hermione asked angrily. "N-Nothing I just,I just thought. The way you said that. You sounded like that Malfoy kid." He told us while snickering a few times suddenly we all burst out laughing. "He's right, Ron!" Hermione said with tears in her eyes we all stopped when a small gray owl came through the window with a letter, it was from Sirius. In the letter he told us that he was traveling as far away from Hogwarts in order to avoid conflict for everybody. He then stated that he bought Harry a Firebolt with the assistance of Crookshanks. There was two pieces of paper on one there was a note for me it said, Dear Tiger, I hope your cousin didn't do anything stupid. Anyways, I just wanted to say a hello and goodbye since i'm on the run but what can I say? I always am since the ladies want me. I laughed at his joke, then continued reading. Inside the note is a necklace,I want you to take care of it for me. You're the only one I can trust with it. Sirius P.S. For now on in letters call me Wolfy. I looked in the letter to see the necklace it was beautiful, it had two rings on it. They looked like wedding rings to me but I could be wrong. Anyways, one was silver with diamonds on the sides while the other had a blue diamond with two small diamond at the sides it all was on a silver chain. After I put them around my neck I overheard Ron say, "Well Crookshanks is it an animagus?" I turn to see Crookshanks sniffing the tiny owl but he ended up jumping into Hermione's lap. "I can't believe he gave you an owl!" Said Jorden I only smiled the train then stopped Ron told Harry something about quidditch. As we left for the car Jorden told me, "Oh and before I forget you're grounded for a month." "What!?! Why!?!" I asked while putting my things in the truck. "Because you were with a criminal when you could have been hanging with me." I frowned then sighed while we drove away back home until it was time for another school year at Hogwarts.
