Burgundy and white

Those two colors are the only thing my eyes can view within this hallway. It's long and narrow, and i'm having trouble following Luke's smell, it's still here but it faded so fast within time.

Time?

Now that i think about it, what time is it? How long have we been here? How long were they planning on keeping us?
My thoughts made me get goosebumps, we need to get out of here, pronto.

I stopped running once i reached the end of the hallway, facing two large white double doors. This is where his scent stops, he's here, i know it. Before i could even open the door, i needed a plan. A pact member could be in there for all i know, maybe 3, or even 10. I need to sneak in, without getting caught.

I gazed around the room, looking for something to help a girl out. Just my luck i found something, an air vent.

It looked big enough for my body to go and slide through. This is all i got, it was this or go through the doors, better safe then sorry.

Pulling out my pocket knife, i was able to unscrew the screws. Before i got in, i took a glance around making sure no one was around. Once it was clear, i slid my way into the vent, turning around making sure it was somewhat looked closed.

I was going at a fast pace, i should be near the room at any moment. Crawling my way through, i could smell Luke! His scent was getting stronger, and stronger the more i got closer.

I finally arrived. Once i peeped through the lines, the room was pitch black, with a bright light. There was no sound, only heavy breathing, and i recognize that breathing from anywhere.

Luke

I busted the vent, then flipped my way out. Landing on my feet, i was in a fighting stance, ready for whatever to come at me.

"Annalise?"

"I'm here!" i stepped to him, having my face come out of darkness.

God i missed his voice

He was tied to a chair, badly beaten. His left eyes had swelled up, as well as having a busted bloody lip. He looked terrible, then i noticed his breathing was off. I lifted his shirt, showing his abs were badly bruised, to the point where it was a dark purple, almost black. His body was shaped weird, i think they broke his rib. My blood was boiling, i'm livid.

"I'll kill them. Every single one of them"

"No. You can't take them down on your own, you have to go"

"And leave you here so they can hurt you more? I don't think so"

"Annalisa, please just don't fight me and listen! You're safety is my priority, and i'd be damned if they lay a finger on you! Go!" He was now raising his voice, but loud enough that i could hear, loud enough to let me know he was getting mad.

"No" i looked him dead in the eyes, showing him that i meant it. "You always protect me, you always save me, you're always the hero while i'm the damsel in distress. Well today you're the damsel in distress, and i'm the hero. So why don't you shut the hell up, and let me get you out of here. We made it through worse shit then this, therefore we are getting the hell out of here". Before he could even utter another word, i was already behind the chair trying to untie him.

"And if you ever tell me to leave you, especially in the hands of the enemy, i'll kill you myself."

It was silence for a minute, then he decided to talk

"I love how strong you became over the years, this makes me proud" even though i was mad, i couldn't help but smile and i knew he had a reflecting smile on his face too.

Our smiles turned upside down real quick, we herd footsteps. Not one, not two, but 5. Once something goes right, there is always a down fall.

Luke shot me a look, which i knew all too well. I ran back to the vent, and closed it like it originally was. I pushed myself far enough where they couldn't see me, but not to far so i could hear what was going on. Within seconds, the door busted open, then the men approached Luke. One of them stepped in front of Luke, i couldn't see his face but i could see his shoes.

"Tobias? Am i right?"

Silence

"Not talking huh?"

Luke was still silent

"I bet you will start talking after this" i see his feet take two steps closer to Luke, from what i can tell he was close, meaning he was in his face.

"Your little girlfriend escaped, and i'm sure you know where that little runt is headed. Now before i lose my patients, tell me where she's going"

Luke's mouth was shield shut

"Is she your mate?"

Silence again

"I wonder how she would be as a sexy pet? Or even in bed? Or how about her on her knees?" He then started laughing at his rude remark, what a pig.

What i seen next was Luke trying to reach at him, but couldn't, he was tied. He was beyond mad, he figure he couldn't get far so i herd him spit. Probably got the guy in the face.

"You son of a bitch!" Another man then stepped up, punching him on his side,where his broke rib was.

"Enough Rick, save it. Once we find his little mate, i will gladly fuck her right front of him. Oh just hearing her scream brings joy to my little ol' heart. Once i'm done with her, i will throw her disgusting body in the dirt, having the maggots finishing it off. I hope you enjoy the show Tobias"

"YOU BITCH! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!" The guy laughed then left the room, having 3 guys follow behind and two with Luke.

From what he said gave me the chills, these people are twisted. This escape will be hard, they know i'm gone, now their already plotting my death.

"Annalisa, i know you herd everything. I know your upset but i have a plan, but it requires you to be alone; to leave me here. My injuries will only slow us down, which will cause them to catch us. You need to find a way out of here, then once you're out, run. Your fast, incredibly fast, but they don't know that. Run up north, and within 15 minutes you will be out of their territory with your speed. After you're out go up to the mountains, there you will meet Nikki. She will find some way to get me out" i was still in the vent, having him mind link me. I was shaking my head at all of this, i just can't leave him here.

"Luke no, I-"

"Annalisa! Don't do this now! You don't have time, now go!"

I was beyond upset, but i had to start going. They were on a hunt for me, i was their pray.

"Annalisa, this isn't our last hello"

"But this could be our last goodbye" With a small sob i turned to get out the vent, having a tear fall down my face. I knew what i said hit a home run, it hurt.

" I love you Annalisa Golding"

"And i love you Luke Anders"

After that i cut him off, the hunt has now begun. I was their pray, and they are my predators. I can't fight them, there is too many, which means i can't also kill them, i have no weapons

That leaves me with one option left
