Running from Fate

Curiosity

Its raining.

Here i am in the room, looking at nothing but the rain watching it  pour down.

After what happened this morning between me and Silas, i made my way up the stairs only for me to get lost. Thank god in the process of finding my room, i bumped into Maddie, literally i did. I ran right into her knocking us both over. We both shared a good laugh, and she escorted me back to my room. From there i dismissed her, just wanting to be alone.

From what happened earlier kept playing in my head. I really did hurt him, but my intentions were never to hurt anyone here, at least not on purpose.

My stomach let out a thunderous growl. I should of ate this morning, but of course me being stubborn  didn't let that happen. I haven't ate for days, but this isn't the first time. Once Luke and i went on without eating for 8 days, we only managed to eat berries we found and cleaned off. They were disgusting, but it was something to help us get by.

I got up from the bed, heading out the door. I remembered the way Maddie took me, so i retraced the steps. Once i got to the kitchen, no one was there this time. I looked around to see if anyone was coming, but no it was just me.

Time to dig in

I happily made my way over the fridge. I took out everything to create a sandwich. I herd a noise, but when i turned around no one was there. I slowly glanced over my shoulder, then continued to find the condiments for my sandwich.

Once I was sure i had everything, i made my way over to the drawers looking for a knife. I opened the first few, and there was nothing. This kitchen was huge. It had so many cabinet and drawers, this would take a few minutes.  I made my way on the other side, and i herd the same noise as before but i now know where it came from.

It came from the dinning room.

I quickly hid myself that way i couldn't be seen. I pushed my back against the wall, easing my way over to the door. I slowly started to push the door open so i could get a small peek, but looking through i didn't see anyone.

Well what the hell?

I pushed the door open looking around, and yet no one was in here but me. I guess me not eating is getting to my head. I shook my head then turned back to the door that lead to the kitchen. I closed my eyes rubbing circles around my head.

I herd running footsteps coming coming my way, so i shot my eyes open only for it to be to late. Someone crashed into my legs, giving it a tight embrace.

"I found you Nova! I found you!" I look down to only see little Aiden. He started laughing at himself, burying his face in my legs.

I started laughing and i picked the boy up. "Yup, you sure did find me. What took you so long?"

"Well you told me not to tell anyone where to find you so i didnt. But then after i left you, everyone around me was in a rush" he started playing with my curls, twirling it around with his finger.

"Why was everyone rushing?" He shrugged his shoulders still playing with my hair. "Wait now i remember. Something about someone escaping. My brother told me i wasn't allowed to leave my room until him or the servant ladies say i can leave. So sorry Nova i left you, thats not a good friend"

This kid was just so adorable. "No matter what you're still my little buddy Aiden" i gave him a little tight hug which only made him laugh.

"Master Aiden! Where are you!?" I herd a women shout. I look down at him to only see his eyes grow big. He jumped out of my arms looking around the kitchen.

"Aiden ! Your brother won't be happy!" Aiden then ran over towards me. He pat my thigh, signaling me to get down so he could tell me something. I went down, then leaned over so he could tell me something in my ear.

"Don't tell where i am, and the next time i see you i will give you cookies" i looked at him and gave him a nod. He held out his pinky "Promise?". I took mine out out and hooked it with his. "I promise. Now go before she comes".

He turned and sprinted out the kitchen, He was very fast for a young boy. Not to long after an older women came through the doors looking around. "Excuse me have you seen a young boy?" I felt bad. She was a maid, i could tell by her uniform. She was sweating, her hair was everywhere, and she was out of breath. The kid must have her running wild.

"Sorry there are no kids around here"

She gave me a nod then started running again. "Aiden please come out!" And i started hearing her heaving.

But i started laughing at the kid and went straight back to the fridge. I managed to find the knives, then i created my sandwich.

After i ate, i made my way upstairs. I was headed back to my room when i herd two voices. They were in hushed low voices, but i still managed to hear them. Im 100% sure that they were both males. It wasn't my business, but curiosity got the best of me. Something has to be going on if they're speaking that low.

"Alpha said he has no use of him"

"So what about Nova? Thats her friend. She will flip out if somwthing happened to him. Lets not forget who she came here with, they are basically a package deal" one of them said a bit louder. I knew who they were referring to, and my heart dropped.

He was planning to kill Luke?

"What can we do Eli? He won't eat without seeing her, and every time
We try to talk he won't talk. The most Alpha got out of the guy was a spit to the face, which drove him mad. They guy won't compromise without the girl, and Alpha Silas refuses to let them see each other, so what use do we have of the guy?"

So One of them is Eli. From what i'm getting they aren't planning to kill Luke, they are waiting for his death.

I just don't understand why Silas just won't let me see him. Well if he won't let me see him, then i guess i have to take matters in my own hands myself.

I slowly backed away, making sure i didn't make any huge sounds. Once i was far enough, i sped walked heading toward the direction of my room.

If i'm going to pull this off, i need to start off with a plan
