I woke up this morning to my stomach rumbling. I was so starved, I started having bad stomach pain.

More than anything i refuse to face Silas though, especially after yesterday, but at this rate if i don't eat then i'll die.

Literally.

I pushed myself from the bed, and headed off to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. Right when i got done, there was a soft knock at the door.

I knew it wasn't Silas, i can't smell his scent, plus the knock sounded gentle. I popped my head from the door, deciding weather or not to answer it.

Maybe it's Eli, but I'm in no mood to talk to him either.

The person knocked two more times, I decided to just face whoever was on the other side of that door.

Once i grabbed the door handle i slowly opened the door, and from there i met a young girl who looked to be my age. She was a very pretty girl, she seemed about 5'5 and she has gorgeous long black hair all the way to her mid back. Her pink rosy cheeks brought out her green eyes, this girl seemed like some sort of model.

"Good Morning Luna! I'm Maddie, Alpha Silas sent me up here to escort you to breakfast" she had a very soft voice, This girl seems as if she can't hurt a fly.

"Thank you Maddie, but tell your jerk face of an Alpha that i will have to pass on that offer". As soon i was ready to close the door, Maddie put her foot between the door so i can't close it.

"I mean no disrespect Luna, but i was ordered to bring you to breakfast"  by the look on her face, i can tell she is a little scared. If she shows up without me, this girl could seriously get in trouble.

"But I-" at that moment, my stomach made a large rumble. My face turned into shock, while she grew a smile.

"Perfect! By the sounds of it you seemed starved! Alpha has everything prepared for you" Maddie grabs my wrist, then drags me down the hall. We turned so many corners, that if she left me by myself i would be lost going back to the room.

Before i knew it, we were going down a flight of stairs. Halfway down i herd many voices of people.

By the time we reached the bottom, i felt all eyes directed towards me. They were all men, huddled in a small circle. There had to be about five of them, and right dead in the middle was Silas.

Once I made eye contact with him, my eyes were solely only him. He didn't look anywhere else but me.

"Alpha, i brought Luna like you asked"

"Thank you Maddie, You're dismissed" with that she turned and gave me a soft smile, then left. I so badly wanted to follow her, but i knew there was no use of me trying to go anywhere at this point. I tried multiple attempts to leave, and yet i always end up back to square one.

Silas turned back to his group. He talked in a low voice, but i managed to hear him. "I want him alive", he said through gritted teeth. They all shook their head, then left but when they all walked past me they gave me a soft smile. I returned the gesture, but then my smile turned upside once i looked at Silas.

He was now at one end of the kitchen table, looking right at me. "What would you like for breakfast love?". I strongly did not want to talk to him, so i just stood in my same spot as i was before crossing my arms. He gave out a small laugh. " I will take that as a no. Well can you at least sit with me so we can talk?"

I wanted to walk away and hide away in the room i was in, but instead i started walking towards the table. I need some information out of him about Luke, and this may be the only time i could get it.

I sat down at the other end of the table. I looked down to see a plate of toast, eggs, bacon, with a side of orange juice. " I didn't know what you exactly liked, so i had the cooks make something simple". I looked up at him and he gave me a weary smile. I push the plate away, showing him i wasn't hungry, but really i was. I didnt trust the food enough to eat it.

"I'm here to talk, so lets get straight to it shall we? Where is Tobias?" I started off. My eyes never left his, i want him to know i mean business.

"It hurts me princess that i made this for you, and all you want to do is talk about that mutt." I hear the jealousy in his voice. I forgot how jealous men get over their mate.

"Oh excuse me alpha for having a heart unlike you" i placed a hand over my heart. He squeezed his fork at my sarcastic remark.

"Look princess, i know you want to see your friend and leave. But as long as i'm still standing, you aren't going anywhere"

"As long as i'm still here i will continue to find a way out. I refuse to stay here, let alone be with you". His eyes changed color, and the glass of juice that was in his hand broke. He stood up, marching his way over to me. Once he approached me, he spun my chair so i could face him. His face was near mine, so close that our noses were nearly toughing.

The next thing that happened i didn't expect. He grabbed my head, and smashed his lips to mine. It was a hard kiss, and i honestly didn't want him to stop. He kept going, making me want more of him, I felt the pull become so much stronger. He pulled away, taking one step back.

"Don't tell me you didn't feel that pull we both had. Don't deny you enjoyed that kiss" i turned looking at the ground, hoping he doesn't see me blush.

"Princess stop fighting it. I know you felt it just as much as i did. I know your body wants more of me, just as much as i want more of you. Why won't you accept it? Why do you run from me?

I looked up in his eyes, and i could tell he honestly wanted to know why i kept rejecting him. But i cant say 'the real reason i can't get close to you is because everyone i get close to all dies because of a man who is madly in love with me, and will kill anyone and everyone who tried to protect me from him. So this is why me and Luke have to leave so your pack can be safe'. He can't know, because as my mate i know he would do anything to protect me. I can't let him get hurt, i told myself no more people would get hurt because of me. This is my problem, not his.

"Answer me. I want to know why princess"

I can't run away, if i try i would get two steps before he catches me.

I took a step back from him, looking straight at the ground. "How could you love someone who you're scared of? How can you say that, without viewing them as a monster?"

He didn't look mad, and he didn't look angry. He looked hurt. I felt like i really did stab him in the heart. I didn't mean all of it though. I herd stories of Silas, that does make me kinda scared of him. But i didn't know what else to say. I wish he knew i didn't mean it, but i hope he understands I'm pushing him away for his own benefit.

I couldn't stay around him any longer, i just couldn't face him. I brushed past him, heading towards the stairs. When i took two steps, i herd him speak behind me.

"So i guess you're stuck with a monster until the day he dies". He stormed off to the front door, slamming it shut. The pictures around the door fell and broke.

Im not sure who i'm more scared of being with...Kai or Silas.
