"Come on Kendrick!" you cheered, clapping your hands. His last play he almost picked off Joe Flacco after an overthrown pass to Kamar Aiken. On the way back to the line, Kamar shoved Kendrick roughly. In your mind, you hoped Kendrick wouldn't try to get Kamar back. The ref threw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct, but it didn't stop there; something Kamar said to Kendrick, made him lose it. Kendrick grabbed Kamar's face-mask and tore the helmet off his head. They threw each other around, until they fell the ground, punches being exchanged left and right. Crockett tried to pull Kendrick off Kamar, but he kept his grip on his jersey. A large pile of people formed around the two men, trying to pull them apart. Finally, the players were able to separate them. They both got up, jerseys disheveled.
"Get your weak ass off the field!" he yelled as Kamar walked away. You sighed, as Kendrick came stomping over to the sideline. His eyebrows knitted tightly together, his lips pursed. You grabbed on his arm. "Kendrick, what happened out there?" Brown shouted something incomprehensible. Kendrick tried to move back, but you held him in his spot. "Sit your five-dollar ass down before I make change!" You quickly pulled him away from the the rest of the team. "Kendrick, what happened?" He shook his head. You stared into his eyes. Whatever Kamar said, mad him the angriest you ever seen him. "Just tell me what happened." "He said something...about us." "Like what?" "That you don't want me, and all this other shit about you cheating and-" His breathing quickened. He was getting upset again. "Kamar is wrong. You know I would never cheat on you, right?" He nodded. "Then stop getting upset." "But I can't just let him talk about you, [Y/N]" "I don't care what he has to say about me. You know the truth, that's all that matters." He gave you a hug.

The locker-room door opened and Kendrick came out, dressed in a some a Nike hoodie and black Ravens' sweats, his dreads up in ponytail. "You ready to go?" you asked. He put an arm around your shoulders. "You bet." Right as you got to the car someone called Kendrick's name. Both of you turned around, Kamar standing behind you. Kendrick kept walking, pulling you along. "I want to apologize." "You said what you wanted to say bruh" he snapped. "Just hear me out." He stopped walking, making you bump into him. "What I said out there on the field...it was wrong. So wrong, and I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said it." He held out his hand. Hesitantly, Kendrick shook it. "I'm sorry [Y/N]." You nodded, and smiled. "I was scared for you" you joked, "Kendrick has a hella left hook." Kamar rubbed his jaw. "Yeah, I got to experience that first hand." "Just don't try me anymore" Kendrick chuckled.
