Chapter 15- Transition

ALEX'S POV

"What?" Liam's eyes lit up in curiosity and ashtonishment.

"Just do it, Liam!" I rolled my eyes with slight annoyance. I'm tired of all these mixed feelings. I just want to be sure of something!

"But, you said...."

I threw my hands into the air and exclaimed, "Forget what I said! Just do it before I change my mind." There was no wait; no hesitation. Louis zoomed forward, having to be the first to change me.

I was nervous; scared.

Louis grasped my hands in his and caressed them ever so softly. His eyes met mine, his pupils dilating soon after. "Alex, I've got you covered babe." I began to feel another wave of pain, spreading over me like a blanket on a chilly day. It was like the transition of cold, bare feet to warm feet stuffed in fluffy socks. It was so sudden.

My body began to shake, the sweaty feeling returning once more.

Zayn bit his lip and rolled up his sleeves. "We need to hurry: it's getting worse." Louis nodded slowly and brought my body close to his. I was trying to slow my breathing as best as I could, but I'm not exactly an expert.

Liam grabbed my head between his large hands and looked me deep into the eyes, "Be calm, baby. You're gonna be all right, just breathe... Relax." I nodded and took deep breaths.

This... This wasn't so bad.

Louis's head dipped down into the crook of my neck. I felt something wet flick across my neck- I assume it was his tongue. I felt as if I was in a doctor's office and they were cleansing my arm before a shot.

It must be some weird vampire thing.

Something sharp grazed over my skin, my body erupting into a fit of shivers. It was getting harder and harder to ignore the growing pain that was emerging from my body. Slowly, his sharp teeth sunk into my skin and I let out a gasp of pain.

My arms were flailing about, trying to decide between latching onto him or pushing him away. I stopped trying to fight him and just sank into his arms as I felt him sucking my skin. I could feel the emptiness.

My teeth sunk into my lip, drawing blood. It was hurting way too much for me to hold my screams in. I let a small shriek out, but tried my best to keep the rest in. I felt Louis caressing my body as he retracted from my neck and bit his own wrist.

I watched as the blood dripped from his lips, which somehow or another turned me on. He brought his bloody wrist to my mouth, "Drink, baby." I proceeded with his request, already feeling much better than before. His blood tasted horrible, yet it was addictive.

Much to my dismay, he pulled me away and licked my neck wound once more. I felt the area on my left hip begin to buzz. I lifted my shirt slightly to see a birthmark glow. I looked up to see that the same thing was happening with Louis.

We were bonded...

But, not entirely- I could feel it.

My body felt strong with power and fulfillment. Yet, I felt weak and drained at the uttermost same time. How am I to do this FOUR more times? Surely I wouldn't have enough blood for all of them.

Zayn stepped forward and grasped my chin between his index finger and thumb. "How do you feel, love?"

"Better than before, but... I just- I want more, Zayn. Right now I just want more of Louis. I want more." I don't know why I was craving Louis so much. Maybe it was a side effect.

Louis smirked and dusted his hands off, "That's what they all say."

Niall rolled his eyes and ran a hand through his browning hair. "And that would be the lust side effect rolling in."

Zayn cleared his throat and tucked a strand of stray hair behind my right ear, "Alex, we need to continue. I don't want you to hurt anymore." I slowly nodded, feeling slightly tipsy.

Zayn wrapped his arms around my waist and drew me in close, "Are you ready?" I nodded, feeling the wetness of his tongue on my neck seconds later.

Anddddd here we go again.
