In "Catch and Release", it has been revealed that Peridot uses limb enhancers. But why? Why can't Peridot use her regeneration/transformation powers to grow longer limbs? Even though she was the antagonist that made the most appearances, she never used her gem. Instead, she has gem tech hands which were not part of her form.
This goes with the same with Pearl, she never changed her actual form throughout the show excluding fusions. It is possible that Peridot and Pearl served the same purpose on Homeworld.
