SURPRISE.
In the new Steven Bomb 4 teaser, yellow diamonds form in the sky. After that, Peridot's face. The scene afterwards, Peridot attacks the Crystal Gems. This gives me an idea of Yellow Diamond's abilities.
We had that part in us that Peridot can be trusted. That part may or may not have been affected after watching the teaser. I think that this is unnatural for Peridot to attack the Crystal Gems even in Yellow Diamond's presence. This makes me theorize on Yellow Diamond's abilities.
Yellow Diamond might be able to control gem's minds. This might explain why Peridot is attacking the Crystal Gems and her gem was glowing yellow. We know that Rebecca Sugar likes to keep us on edge, so it's safe to say that Yellow Diamond won't reveal herself on Earth and won't have any shapeshifting abilities.
