Alice's P.O.V
"Ah!" I ducked as it splattered against the wall ,"Take this!" Yes! Landed straight on her face.
"You evil little wench!," In reply I gave her an evil smile. She rolled her eyes and started walking to the dessert we made.
"Awe come on Michelle it's only fair since you threw frosting at my shirt." She turned around and I gave her an innocent simple child look.
She rolled her eyes and shook her head "Oh whatever help me put these dangleberries in this contraption," she pointed to an wooden oven.
"You mean an oven?" Did she seriously not know what this was?
"Well yes it's new and I keep forgetting now let's go do something else" I nodded as I followed her out the kitchen.
We entered this hallway that seems it'd made out of silver granite and it was incredible. You could see the outlines of our figures. You could not see the details however. For some reason I knew that was made on purpose. So we can connect on a deeper level. I felt at peace here.
She stopped midway "This is the reflection hall it's supposed to be where all is forgiven and troubles are suppose to wash away as you enter the garden that's to come," She took a pause
," But my troubles aren't going away.""Maybe we just need to keep walking and then by the time we get back the food will be done. Because we all know many of our troubles come from lack of food. Food is soul worthy, food is life."
I couldn't hold a serious face much longer as we both fell on our butts laughing. Let me tell your granite is beautiful to the eye ,but to your butt it is evil and painful."Ow my bottom!" Michelle yelled.I laughed so hard at the remark.
"Why are you laughing at my pain?" She pouted like a baby."Hey! I'm only partially laughing at your pain I'm also laughing at the way you expressed your pain. 'Ow my bottom!' " I felt a little guilty for mocking her ,but I couldn't help it ,it was too funny.
"Your so mean Alice." I stuck my tongue out at her and mocked her. I'm mean, I admit it. Who said I was an angel from above?
We finally got up and walked out into the garden.
It.
Was.
Beyond brilliantly breathtakingly bizarrely beautiful.
I remember from class (the ones I didn't skip) we were told not to use more than four adjectives in a story or chapter. This sight was just that amazing that it was allowed to break that rule.
Rose bushes and vines separated the areas to make sections. The roses looked individually unique in detail they were an off white cream color. With morning dew still left on the petals. The smell of the whole garden was like a whole bowl of freshly picked berries. Crisp and sweet. The auroma had my taste buds being able to eat all of those berries. In here the grass was a light aqua blue with sharp tips that tickled your feet as you took each step. In between the rose bush sections laid different plants that looked as if it were cross breeds of different flowers.
It looked like a red tulip mixed with a yellow dandelion made this reddish purple wild flower with yellow tips. They were in line with one another making a swerved path. That path of wild flowers led to this very exquisite bench. It was a shining silver color. As I sat on it my body shivered in contact with the cool temperature.
On the legs that held it up were pictures of what seemed to be people fighting a war.
I looked at Michelle who was staring at the sky that was now turning a darker shade of purples and blues."Michelle?," She turned and faced me ," What are these engravings mean?," I traced the engravings with my fingers. She sighed and got off the bench and got on her knees. She patted the spot on the ground next to her. So I sat there patiently waiting for her to tell her tale. Michelle took a moment ,inhaled and exhaled slowly, I can tell this is either really feel or really long.
