"Brittany we are home. Wake up." Daniel says.
"Hmm. Just five more minutes."
"You can go back to sleep once we are inside. But for now I need your help getting the kids to bed." He tells her giving her shoulder a gentle shake.
"Oh, so sorry." She tells him as she climbs out of the car. She goes to open Kaylie's door but Daniel stops her.
"If you can stay out here with Kyle I will run Kaylie inside then come back out for him."
She nods her head at him and climbs back up into her seat. When he comes back out and get Kyle she climbs out and follows him into the house. She heads up to her room and climbs into her bed. "Are you not sleeping in my room tonight?" He asks her.
"Um, if you want me to I can." She replies. She goes to get up, but is picked up. "Um Daniel can you put me down I need to get something on, then I will be in your room." She tells him.
He ignores her and carries her out of her room wrapped up in the blanket and into his room. He puts her down on the bed. "You can grab one of my shirts to sleep in again. I will be just a minute." He tells her leaving the room. Once he is gone she walks over to his dresser and finds a shirt to wear. She puts it on and climbs back into the bed. "So, did you enjoy yourself this evening?" He asks coming back into the room holding two cups. He hands her one and starts drinking the other.
"Yes I did. Thank you for the lovely night." She says as she takes a sip of her drink. "What are we drinking?" She asks him.
"You are drinking a strawberry daquari, while I am drinking a bloody mary." He tells her.
"Thank you." She tells him sitting her drink on the table beside her. "Yes I did."
