"You ready to go?" Rin grinned at the other. The water loving boy, otherwise known as Haru, didn't say anything. He just took off his shirt and pants, leaving him in his trunks. Rin smirked, did the same. They both got their caps and goggles on, and stepped up to the pedastools.
Rin ans Haru had been racing a lot for the past few weeks, usually at Samezuka. Haru kept beating him, so Rin was hoping for at least a tie. But today, he felt different. Today is the day, Rin thought, I will beat him. Rin had a small smirk due to his next idea.
"If you loose, you have to kiss me," Rin challenged. Haru nodded. The red head's sly smile grew. That is something he definitely wanted, a kiss, from none other than Haruka Nanase.
"I'll say when we start," Rin said. The anticipation to jump into the water was massive for Haru, and the seconds suddenly became minutes which quickly became days. Rin sucked in a breath.
"Go!"
The two jumped into the cold water, starting their freestyle stroke with confidence. They were neck and neck, until as they got closer the taller male was slowly beginning to drag behind. Rin growled at took a couple of strong pulls, catching him up to Haru. Syncronized, they flip turned and pushed off the walls, and continued their stroke right when the two broke water again. Haru and Rin used up the last of their strength for the final haul. They stayed in the same spot, right next to eachother, never moving slightly fowards, never moving an inch backwards.
SLAM.
It was a tie.
"Why can't I beat you?!" Rin growled, plain pissed. He was usually ticked, but he just grumbled "see you tomorrow" and walked back to his dorm room.
What even more confusing was that Rin and Haru tied, which was better than normal, but he should at least feel somewhat accomplished with himself. Knowing Rin, Haru easily figured out the reason as to why Rin felt like this.
"I'll still kiss you," Haru said.
"What?" Rin's cherry eyes widened. Haru didn't repeat himself. He only leaned forward and gave Rin a peck on the lips. The red head perked up, happy. Haru got out of the water.
"See you tomorrow?" Haru asked, getting his things together.
"Y-yeah," Rin was feeling giddy rather than raging now.
Haru's expression stayed blank and he left the building without saying a word.
Yet... He wondered what Rin would want his prize to be tomorrow.AN: If this gets to 15+ votes and if more people ask I'll make a part two lemon.
