Kurama X reader: Valentines day.

Next day:

I didn't sleep well last night, not that i had a nightmare but dreaming about kurama made the butterflies in my tummy go crazy. I look at the mirror for the last time, i only put some powder, eye liner and lip gloss, trying to look my best and i still want to keep it simple so that is enough.

After that i took my bag and grab the little green box where i have put the heart shaped cookies and went to school.

The school grounds is already filled with heart shaped and cupid shaped design. As i walk thru the hallway i saw some girls chasing a redhead guy and they went up to the staircase.

"Seriously? the class haven't even started yet and they are already bothering him for valentines?" i felt hopeless, will i have a chance to ask him when he is being chased by almost all of the girls here.

"(your/name)!! good morning! are you ready?" haruka wink at me. "Hey haruka. well i don't know." she frowned at me and asked "why?" i looked down to the green box im holding.

"1st girls are chasing him everywhere, 2nd im scared to let him know how i really feel, i might ruined our friendship and 3rd he is probably irritated with all the girls who keeps on bothering him even when he already said no. but he is too kind and a gentleman to show it" I sigh in frustration.

"Well he might be already fed up with all of this valentines stuff but look you even work hard to baked those cookies, for someone who doesn't know how to bake, you did a great job." she said as she pats my head. We smiled at each other. "Just try. ok?" "Alright! i'll try! you are the best friend ever!" we hug each other then went to class.

Before the class start kurama just arrived, he is sweating and trying to catch his breath. Some girls looks like they want to jump on kurama so he can't get away again, good thing the teacher is already here.

I feel bad for him that he has to go thru all of this. I mean why do people need to push themselves to the people they like when they already have been rejected. RESPECT the decision and yourself then move on!

I didn't notice i was staring too long at kurama until when his eyes met mine. I feel my body stiffed as he smiled at me. i mouth the words at him "you ok?" and he simply nodded.

After class. I tried looking for kurama to give him the cookies but darn it he is so fast. Finally i decided to go up to the roof top and sulk there. when i got there i close the door and was shock to see him sitting there.

"Whoa! wh-what are you doing here?" my heart starts to beat fast, here i am alone with him!!!--- but he looks so tired. "Hiding" he laughs as he shake his head. i slowly walk up to him and give him my handkerchief "Here, take it. It looks like you were doing some marathon." we both laugh as he took my handkerchief and he wipe away the sweats on his face.

"Thank you (your/name). how about you? what are you doing here?" he asked. "Well i just wanted to have some fresh air but since you are here... umm.. this is for you, something to cheer you up" i handed him the green box, i can feel my hands shaking nervously.

He took it and open the lid. His green eyes lighten up and smiled charmingly when he saw the heart shaped cookies. "Did you baked this?" he looks up to me and i can feel my cheeks starts to blush. 

"ye---" the door then was opened and 10 screaming girls run towards us. "KYAAA! SHUICHI!!" somebody have push me thats why i fell to the ground, while the others have been trying to get kurama's attention. they were all pushing each other and then the black haired girl bump into kurama's hand. All of the cookies fell to the ground, some have even stepped on it.

but they didn't care, all they care for is to get kurama's attention. all you could hear is "SHUICHI PLEASE PICK ME." "NO!! IM THE GIRL FOR YOU" "SHUICHI BE MY VALENTINE!!"

I didn't care anymore if i cant confess but i feel my heart broke into many pieces. The cookies i've worked hard for, the cookies im trying to cheer up kurama with, kurama didn't had a chance to taste them!!!

"ENOUGH!" this is the first time kurama have raised his voice. everyone was shocked that they all have shut up. He looks furious as he kneel to the ground and everyone took a step back, thats when they just realized they have stepped on the cookies.

Even i was shocked that i can't move, kurama is picking up the crumbs and some cookies that still looks good or clean. when he have finished he stands up and look at all of them. He lower his head bowing at them his voice turn soft again but still deadly.

"I deeply apologize to all of you but as i have said before, i am not interested to any of you. All of you are a beautiful, talented young ladies but unfortunately i am not your prince, i believe you will find him soon. Now if you will excuse me, i had enough of this" he stands straight looking apologetic to everyone. some girls apologized to him as well.

He walk towards me and offer his hand "Are you alright? (your/name)" i took his hand and stands up. "umm.. yeah im fine. thanks shuichi" i couldn't look into his eyes or to the other girls. Kurama is still holding my hand as we exited the roof top and his other hand holding the box.

we silently descended to the staircase when my eyes went wide and my jaw drop. He started eating the cookies. I grab his hand to stop him from taking another bite. "What are you doing?! those are dirty already!" He was smiling when he said. "i don't care, you made them for me, so i'll eat them and its delicious!"

"Whaat? i-i could have baked again for you, you know! you don't have to eat that" i could feel my cheeks blushing again. "But i wanted to" his tone is very sincere. our eyes have met again and no one wants to look away.

We laugh when we heard the bell ring and went back to class. Our classmates was staring at us when we entered the room. Looks like everyone knows already what happened to the roof top. I took my sit and so did kurama.

"OMG!!! is it true? did shuichi really get mad? and even picked up the cookies?" haruka is trying her best not to shout but she isn't doing a great job either. I giggled

"Will you keep it down? and yes he did.. want to know something thats going to take your breath away?" i whispered to her and she nodded so fast looking so eager to know what happen.

"Well he ate the cookies and said its delicious!" her jaw drop and then "KYAAAAAAAAA! No way!!" everyone turn their heads to look at us. The teacher even raised her eyebrow and said "Care to share us, what miss haruka is screaming about?" we both shakes our head "well listen then!" she glared at us before returning to her lecture.

I slightly glance at kurama and saw that he is trying to hold his laughter. I feel embarrassed, what if he understood what haruka and i are talking about?! but haruka pulled my hand. so i whispered again "will you please try not to scream again?" she let go of my hand "yeah sorry. but if he did that then it means he likes you too!" and this time it was me who almost scream but have control it anyways.

"What are you talking about? h-he probably just didn't want to hurt my feelings or-" she cut me off  "(your/name), wake up! no one will eat something that is already dirty unless it was given to them by someone special" she is teasing me but i ignored her and listen to our teacher. trying not to let that 'thought' get into my head.

When the school is over kurama went home early. he is probably helping the other boys for their valentines surprise. i really feel jealous of keiko and yukina the two idiots are preparing something special for them.

While Here i am, still wasn't able to confess and obviously there's no chance for me to be kurama's date. i sigh and shake my head.

"Cheer up (your/name) at least i can spend some time with kurama tomorrow night and thats what matters!" i said to myself.
