A long time ago my father was proclaimed as a criminal in our former realm, Asgard. I love Asgard_ the sheer beauty and the love that we all shared. The King Odin and his wife had been amazing o us and their sons: Loki and Thor were seen everywhere.
My father had been in the wrong time when I was ten. He'd witnessed a man he'd never seen before in Asgard kill one of us.He'd ran to tell our King, but the King found him guilty and killed him. He'd also put a death order on our entire family, but I'd made it out. I'd escaped into a world proclaimed as Earth.
Now at twenty-five I was looking at a man I swore I'd never see again. Thor. He was far more beautiful than I remembered. He was maybe 6'7" now and VERY muscular with blonde hair and the most beautiful blue-green eyes. He was dressed in Asgardian clothes and he was searching the room for someone.
He looked directly at me and my heart stopped. Something about him drew the Asgardian out of me and now I knew she wouldn't hide anymore. I also know she's ready to share our secret: I have powers that many dream of and it would give you nightmares if you saw me in action.
I watched Thor walk over to me and place a hand on my arm.
"Do you know the woman, Mariah Forrest? She owns this little pub." He said with the accent of an Asgardian.
"Yeah! She's my friend." I said smiling. He looked me over. I was 5'7" with long curly hair and brown eyes. I also had curves that many women dreamed of and every man whistled over, paired with big boobs and a nice butt. Don't let my looks decieve you though- I'll murder anyone who shows disrespect. Today I was dressed in jeans and a sweater. It was pretty cold out.
"Great, where is she?" He asks.
"Who's asking?" I answer him. He stares at me as if I'm joking.
"You do know me? I'm the man who saved all of the world in New York with the Avengers?" He sounded cocky and I smiled at him.
"Sorry, no." I lied.
"Thor." He answered.
"Weird name." I said and drank some water.
"What ever. Where is Mariah?" He said. I groaned and stood up.
"Follow me." I said and walked to the back. I knew he would follow me and for once I was jealous of Mariah. I'd had a serious crush on this guy at ten and she was the one who got him. The bitter irony. I walked a little outside whre I usually found Mariah.
"Mariah! You have a visitor!" I shouted. No answer. That was really weird... She always answered when I called. I walked farther into the room. "Mariah?" I asked again. I heard movement and found her tied and gagged to a chair. "Oh my gawd! Are you ok?" I quickly took the gag off.
"Esmerelda, watch out!!!" Mariah yelled and I looked in time to see Thor whack tentacles off of something with his hammer. I hurriedly untied Mariah and pulled her away.
"Run!" I yelled at her and she immediately ran the way I'd pointed out to her. She took off faster than I'd ever seen her go and I followed. She was gasping for air as we rounded a corner and saw our first true ugly monster. He was black with eight eyes and where his arms were supposed to be there was all these tentacles reaching out for us. We screamed and turned to try another way just to be surrounded by him at every angle.
"Mariah, please cover your eyes." I begged and she did so happily. I breathed a little softly and then closed my eyes. I searched for a heating source and found it. Thor's hammer. I pulled heat from it and wrapped it around me. I breathed slowly, letting it grow out around us and burn the thing. It screamed really high pitched and melted to the floor and finally turned to crispy ash. I gasped as I returned the heat back to his hammer and grabbed Mariah's arms.
"We have to get you out of here." I told her and grabbed her arm. I raced to the end of the room and threw her out the door first.
"Come on bastards! Is that all you've got?!" Thor shouted loudly and I turned back around.
"Esmerelda! Come on we have to go!!" Mariah shouted, grabbing my arm. I made her let go.
"I have to save him." I told her. She nodded and ran. I stood there, slowly turning around to help him. Someone better murder me later or I was cursing him out.
"Thor, you have to go!" I shouted as I saw him hammer through another guy. He turned and smiled at me.
"Come to help?" He asks, sarcastically.I ground my teeth together. He'd pay for that remark later.
"No. You need to go." I told him as I grabbed his hammer. I grabbed it so that if he threw it he would throw me. He looked at me and smiled.
"You asked for it." He said and his hammer shot up.
"What?" I asked as light surrounded us and then we were flying. Oh no! I know this flying!
