Chapter 18 - 1200 days. 13 hours. 18 minutes. 20 seconds.

Jasmine's POV

"Stop moving Jasmine, "Leila, My makeup artist groaned.

"It tickles, "I squealed, laughing.

"Damn it, "She said wiping something of my face. "You're by far the hardest person I've worked with, "

"But you love me, "I said pouting.

She let out a laugh.

I stayed frozen in my seat for the next half hour, as Leila dragged random crap all over my face. I know it's not normal for a famous person to hate make up, but I detest it so much. But then again I'm famous, I'm meant to wear make up.

"Finish, "Leila said, huffing.

"Thanks, and sorry," I said hugging her.

She carefully ruffled my curled hair.

The day had finally come.

I was going to be hosting the Emma Gala today.

Weeks of preparation came down to this.

"JASMINE! " Chrissy screamed. "You're on stage in 5, "

I felt my palms heat up suddenly.

"Deep breaths, "I said calmly.

"You're going to do fine, "Chrissy said, coming closer to me.

"Hopefully, "I said looking at her.

"Come on, "She said guiding me backstage. "As soon as Robin finishes his act, you have to walk in there, "

I nodded, Straighten out my white and black dress, making sure the back part was all neat and in line. My hair was now back to its original blonde.

I could hear the last couple of notes of the song being played. As the dancers were piling backstage, I braced myself and walked out, my head held high.

"WELCOME TO THE 2017 EMMA GAALA, "I said, putting in as much Emphasis as I could.

The screams in the arena got louder as I smiled.

"That was Robin with his new single, it was amazing, "I said into the microphone, causing my voice to boom out.

"For the first award, I'd like to bring Redrama on stage, "I said causing the crowd to go wild.

Redrama walked on stage, coming towards me to give me a hug.

"Hello Emma Gaala, "He said "Hello Jasmine, "

"Hi, you're going to announce the Best Male Soloist of the year, "I said, causing the arena to go crazy again. "You guys must be pretty excited, "

The crowd responded, by screaming louder.

"Ok, so the Nominees are Robin, Benjamin and Isac Elliot, "Redraw said as the cameras focused on the nominees. "And the winner is .... ISAC ELLIOT! "

Baby I started playing as he walked up to the stage.

Isac was wearing a black suit and he looked .... Amazing.

I started clapping and smiling.

Isac got up on stage and shook Redreams hand and held the trophy up.

"I would like to say a massive thanks to my amazing Family, for supporting me through everything. Also to my crazy stupid crew for supporting me , and last of all to my amazing Fans , I Love you guys ," He said causing the crowd to scream .

I wondered if I was part of that crew.

"Well done Isac, "I whispered, as he started walking down.

He just smiled and continued walking away.

Over the past couple of days, it was like what happened between me and Isac had disappeared. I guess we had made amends and I liked that, because it wasn't awkward anymore. He was my Ikke again and everything was going fine, I guess.

"The next award is of..... "

**** Skip to the end of the Emma Gala ****

I stood up straight as the time came closer and closer.

Isac had won 2 awards and was ecstatic about, He also performed a Justin Timberlake song, and it was Fantastic.

I had one 4 Awards; Female soloist, Song of the year, Best Newcomer and Style Icon. I was going to be called on stage by the last winner and I was shaking.

"You're going to do fine, "Finch said, squeezing my trembling hand.

The Cords to the song I had chosen, started filling the arena.

"NEXT UP IS OUR VERY OWN PRESENTER, JASMINE PORTER!!" The winner screamed.

I could hear the fans scream my name and lyrics.

"Days like this I want to drive away, "I started singing backstage.

"Pack my bag and watch your shadow fade, "I sang, adjusting my black skirt.

"You chewed me up and spit me out, like I was poison in your mouth, "I sang, the others started walking onto the stage and dance.

"You took my light and drained me out, "I said getting ready.

"But that was then and this is now, NOW LOOK AT ME, "I said, strutting onto the stage.

I walked through the smoke on the dark stage. As soon as I walked on, the lights started flashing and I felt adreline run through my veins.

The screams were louder than before and I continued singing.

"This is the part of me, that you're never gonna ever take away from me, no, "I sang.

I knew my outfit was the cherry on the top. I was turning heads away but right now I only wanted one guy to look at me.

I continued dancing with my crew on the stage.

I could just make out the table that Isac was sitting on. His Jaw was wide and he looked at me in amazement. I liked that. I liked that a lot.

I continued singing and dancing. The screams egging me on. I loved this feeling.

The feeling on stage, with people looking up at you wanting more of what you were doing. Making you feel needed for once in your life.

Anyway hows your week gong ?

Mine went great until yesterday , My dick of a ex texted me saying I miss you and then I told him things had changed , he then texts me saying I hate you and blamed his friend and then he blocked me . IDEK what the hell went through his dumb mind , But I'm done , That was the last strike .

Ughhh I have so many test next week , Biology, Physics , Maths , Tp that's all I can think of on the top my head .

GOOD NEWS , MY MUM SAID SHE'D PRE ORDER SOUNDS GOOD, FEELS GOOD FOR MR TOMORROW , AHEEEEEE , I CAN'T WAITTTTT .... I don't know I feel like this album is going to mean a lot to me because it's about mental illnesses and stuff , and most of reades know that i go through depression as well as self harming , I just love those boys for making me feel happy .
