Chapter 21~The Date

VICTORIA'S P.O.V.

Just as the boys were about to leave the door bell rang & as soon as I heard a lot of emotions went through me at once. The boys walked faster than normal out of the room and I started pacing back and forth getting a bit scared as to how bad tonight could go or at how good it could go. Jordi walked up to me and placed her hands on my shoulders stopping me from pacing. 'What's wrong?' She asked me probably sensing my nervousness.

'Nothing' I said casually. The door opened and I could hear talking but I couldn't hear what they were saying. Luke is taking me out for dinner at a restaurant and then to see a movie. I know that I look good but what if it isn't enough what if he doesn't like it. What if he ends up hating me. Why if I stuff the date up and he never wants to see me again. All these thoughts are running through my head and I'm not sure how to control them. All I know is that I have to go down there and face the him sooner and later and take it one step at a time. I slowly started to walk towards the door smiling at Jordi and Saritha as I went and just before I got to Jordi's feed room door I turned around completely facing them. 'What if he doesn't like me' I said now thinking about backing out of the date and running away.

'He will I have never seen him like this before he is head over heals for you Tori trust me' Jordi said as if she was certain I hd nothing to worry about. I turned back around and walked the rest of the way towards the steps but stopped just before walking down them I could now hear what the boys were saying.

'Are you sure mate' Luke's voice said sounding up the stairs.

'Yes definitely' Christian said. What are they talking about? Should I be worried?. 'Look tonight can go one of two ways and you just have to go with whatever happens' Christian said again.

'But what if he tries to take her again or he gets someone else to?' Luke asked and now I was starting to get worried. I turned around and saw Jordi and Saritha standing behind me looking as worried and confused as I did. 'Why won't he let me be happy?' Luke said now starting to get a little bit pissed.

'I don't know mate all I know is if we don't stick together and protect our girls then they can get really hurt' Mitch said and we all looked at each other again not knowing what they were talking about and wanting to find out.

'But if I don't go on this date with Tori then there is a big chance that she will be left alone' Luke said and I felt a heart string get pulled on in a bad way. 'But I don't want to lose her to someone else' he said and I smiled a bit because I now know that he really does like me and its not just in my head.

'Then go no the date with Tori and take care of her but now that they know you like her there is a good chance that they won't leave her alone' Christian said and then we heard feet shuffling towards the steps so we started to walk down them. When we reached the bottom Jordi patted my back gave me a reassuring smile and walked over to Christian. Saritha did the same but went over to Mitch instead. I noticed that Brock and Tyrone were here but they didn't say anything. I looked at Luke and his jaw was nearly hitting the floor so I walked over and stood in between Jordi and Saritha trying to act casual and get the attention off of me. Everyone looked at me like I was an idiot and I just smiled at them.

'Y-you look beautiful Tori' Luke said reaching his hand out for me. I took his hand and gave everyone a smile before we walked out of Jordi's house. And to his car which was parked just on the end of the driveway. I got into his passenger side seat and placed my clutch on the floor so I didn't have to hold it. As soon as I say up properly without even thinking I put my elbow up on the window seal and leant on it looking out the window trying to figure out what was happening and if by going on this date with Luke I was getting myself in trouble or not. Who won't let them be happy? Who is threatening to hurt Jordi, Saritha and I. And does Luke actually like me or am I just kidding myself cause he hasn't actually fully told me so I'm not sure exactly. Thoughts like this kept running through my mind as Luke was driving us to the restaurant were we will be having dinner together. After about fifteen minutes of driving Luke pulled up at the restaurant and I looked up to see an Italian restaurant with fairy light around the top of the door and Chinese lanterns scattered neatly along the roof. I got out of the car before Luke walked around to open the door and he gave me a look and then it hit me that I was being a bitch ignoring him when he was talking to me in the car, not letting him open the door for me and not holding his hand when he was walking next to me. I didn't mean to do any of it I just I guess I'm not really sure about him now after everything that was said at Jordi's house.
