She Guess She Shouldn't Doubt Him, He Is The Expert After All
"Hey! Wait up, will you?!" Go Go was getting out of breath as she chased for the biker man. Sunny refused to stop; she needed to know how bad the neighbourhood could be to city residents. As Sunny stopped, so did Go Go.
'You want to find out how bad this place can be? Then stay close and don't do anything stupid, okay?'
He grabbed hold of Go Go's wrist, causing her to protest and tug away from his grip.
"Hey! Wait a sec- are you...are you Sunny?"
Sunny was surprised she knew his name. With a single nod and using his free hand, he put his thumb up.
'Yeah. I am.'
"Okay then, Sunny...i'm Go Go. Geez, you really have a tight grip." she rubbed her wrist, seeing it had gone red from her pulling away so suddenly.
Sunny grinned behind his helmet.
'Sorry about that, you're okay though, right? Still wanna know how bad it is where I live? Fine then, follow me. Don't worry; I won't let anything bad happen. Just stay close.'
Once again, Sunny took hold of Go Go's wrist, being gentle of course. At times he didn't know his own strength so he had to be extra careful. The young woman followed him wherever he went, she didn't want to risk getting lost in a place where there was possible hardcore criminals and gangs.
How did Sunny and the others live in a place like that? Surely it must have been difficult.
'We gotta take this shortcut here, it's the only way we can avoid facing a gang.'
"Okay? But why this way in particular?" Go Go asked, confused.
Sunny pointed upwards to another rooftop, giving Go Go an answer.
"Ohhh..." she realised.
'Because that's why. Rooftops keep you hidden. Come on, i'll pull you up."
The silent man jumped up, hoisting himself up like he had done before. He the pulled Go Go up, who continued to be sceptical about the whole situation.
"Are you sure this neighbourhood you live in is as bad as Danika makes it out to be? I mean come on, criminals and street thugs? Isn't that a tiny bit exaggerated?"
'Don't ever underestimate this place. To be honest I used to think nothing like that existed. But I found out the hard way by actually seeing it. It was terrifying, not just to me. Come on, don't fall behind, and stay close.'
Go Go followed Sunny's actions. If she stepped out of line there was no telling what could happen. He knew more than her about the neighbourhood, so for now, as much as she hated it, it was probably best to leave the entire situation to a man that hid himself away and didn't speak.
'We're almost there. Sorry for making you walk so much.'
Sunny then thought of an idea, smirking behind his helmet. He went over to Go Go and picked her up in a bridal fashion.
'A girl like you needs a knight in shining armour.'
Go Go gasped and tried to get him to put her down, knowing what he could of been trying to say.
"No I don't! Put me down!" she protested, but the hidden man refused.
'Relax you big baby, geez.'

"Yo, Aspen!" Ted shouted as he closed the front door behind him.
"I'm in the kitchen, sugar plum!"
Going into the kitchen, Ted saw the cheerful woman put a freshly prepared cake into the oven. She had been an excellent baker since she was a little girl, so the smell was absolutely delightful.
"That smells yummy, dudette! What is it?"
"Vanilla sponge. When it's done bakin' i'm gonna decorate it, it'll be the best thing y'all have ever tasted!"
"Everything you make is the best!"
Aspen's cheeks turned light pink when she smiled. "You think so? Awww, thanks, sugar cube. I'm making lasagne tonight for dinner, I figured since we haven't had it for a while then we'll all enjoy it."
"Today just keeps getting better and better! I'm gonna go and get into somethin' a bit more comfortable. Zach and Danika should be back soon. Don't know about Sunny though."
"Psh, well we all know him. He's a night owl, but he's sensible enough to come home before midnight. I'll be in here if you need me, 'kay?"
Ted nodded, walking upstairs and turning right to his room. Well, he and Zach shared- but they'd been best friends since kindergarten. The two were inseparable.
As he closed the door behind him, the chirping sound of a tiny bird echoed around the room. This caused the eighteen year old to smile warmly.
"Hey, Cherry. How you doing, girl? You're looking better." he took a tiny bird out of its cage, rubbing its dark red tummy. Cherry chirped once again in delight, she was more than happy to see Ted.
"I'm happy to see you too! Have you been behaving while i've been out?"
The bird gave him a dignified look, giving him the answer he had hoped for.
"Good girl!" he praised, gently setting the bird on top of the metal cage that rested on a wooden shelf beside his bed. Cherry had a small white bandage wrapped around one of her legs, so she limped whenever she tried to hop around. The poor thing looked very disappointed that her leg hadn't healed yet.
"I know, Cherry. But you'll get better, trust me. Then we can get you back to your mommy, brothers and sisters." Ted reassured his 'patient'. "I got you a little treat today, bird seed with some fruit in it. It'll help you grow big and strong!"
Ted poured some food into the bird feeder, causing Cherry to limp over to it so she could eat. She only ate a small amount before signalling that she wanted to go back into her cage.
"That's it, girl, you eat up. Don't worry, i'll be here to take care of you." he put Cherry back into the cage, closing the latch so that she wouldn't be able to get out and hurt herself. She needed all the rest she could get if she wanted to fly again. Ted felt sorry for Cherry, he wished he could speed up the healing process but he knew he couldn't.
He would have to let Mother Nature take her course.
