The group sighed. "Guys.. How much longer..?" Chiharu whined a bit. A month had passed since their joinery started. Making their way out and in forests and such. "Let us begin a fire. We can sleep in shifts. We all need the extra energy. I also have food with me, and everyone should have food too. Either that, or Pazu could spear some fish for us to cook." Ren nodded. "Do not fret; this will be over before we know it." The female replied, putting her pistols away. "Tomoe, Saboru, please gather firewood for us." She asked, sitting down and sighing. Tomoe's cheeks lit up as she nodded. "Ok!" She nodded, moving a few strands of red hair away from her bright green eyes. "Come on!" Saboru laughed, grabbing her wrists tightly and running. Hanako and Haruka were playing a patty-cake type game. Tomoe and Saboru ran back, laughing and carrying logs. "Hanako, please start the fire." Ren nodded. "Right!" The blue-haired female smiled. "Execial..Mikiro..Ajor..Larto..Mira.. I summon thee! Flames of Hell!" Fire shot from her hands, hitting the logs and burning them. "Nice." Will grinned, putting his hands over the fire. Hanako nodded. Pazu ran back, fish on both sides of his spear. "Wow! This is.. Really good!" Tomoe bit into a fried fish, nodding. "Oh, glad I could help." The blond male replied, a small smile on his face. "Alright, everyone. Now that we've had dinner, let us head to bed, shall we?" Ren nodded at everyone. "If there is calamity, scream. One of us will wake up." She said, closing her eyes and slowly drifting to sleep, clutching her pistols tightly at her sides. "WH..WH.. YAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Ren immediately got up. "What's wrong?!" She yelled. "Hanako.. Everyone, get up, now!" Everyone stood as she fired a billet into the air, running to the source. There, Hanako kneeled, crying into her hands at the sight of Haruka, hanging from a tree. "Haruka.." Tomoe's eyes filled with tears. "Hanako, I'm so sorry..." She kneeled next to the girl. "I want this to end! I want Haruka back!" Hanako hugged Tomoe tightly, crying into her shoulder. The tealette stood, grabbing one of Ren's pistols. "Goodbye.." Hanako brought it to her head, pulling the trigger. Nothing happened. "Why didn't it work, Ren?!" She yelled. "Because those guns do not supply on bullets. They fire on my command." She replied. "Then say it.. Please.. You promised to put us out of our misery.." "That's only if you're suffering physical pain! Hanako, we need you!" Ren yelled. "I'm nothing without Haruka..." She cried into her hands. Ren sighed, looking down and balling her hands into fists and squeezing tightly. "Is.. This really what you want, Hanako..?" She sighed, her red eye focusing on the girl. "I.. I want to be with Haruka.. Please..." She cried. "I'm sorry.." She kneeled at Hanako's side. "Please.. Haruka is always here for you.. She's always at your side, no matter what. Death is not your only option. She chose suicide because she couldn't take it. You're brave. Braver than any 5-star, though you're only a 2-star. You can't die.." Ren began to cry a bit. "O...ok... But.. Please get her body.. I wanna see her one last time.." Hanako sniffled, wiping her eyes. Tomoe sliced the ropes, catching the body. Haruka had a regretful smile on her face, a ring in hand. It had a pink diamond in it. "This.. Is Haruka's ring.." Hanako put it on her other hand. "Thank you.. Sis.." She picked up the body, hugging it tightly. She felt like something was hugging her back, though no one was there. Haruka's spirit was wrapping her arms around her sister. "I.. Love you.. Hanako.." The tealette heard her sister's gentle voice in her ear. "Farewell..." Was the last word she had ever heard from Haruka. The next morning, Hanako tried her best to cheer up, wearing her and Haruka's rings; one with a sapphire and one with a pink diamond. "Are you feeling alright?" Ren asked, wrapping an arm around Hanako's shoulder. "Yeah.. Thank you, Ren.." She smiled, nodding. "Of course.. Just don't forget, Haruka's spirit is still here. She will live on in our hearts forever." Ren smiled, walking away.
