She walked down the steps of the dungeon, scanning the many cells when she reached the bottom step. She walked down the long, dank and musty hallway that was illuminated by a few torches here and there.  "Gde ty volk?" When she reached the last cell-which was actually a fairly small room with a steel door keeping the room's prisoner inside-she peeked through the little window.

A tall, thin wolf lay on the floor, his rib cage expanding and deflating with his feint, pained breaths. Chains were wrapped around his wrists, ankles, and neck, keeping him from getting to close to the door. Veronica smirked and pulled a key from her cleavage. She unlocked the door and stepped inside. Zacharias looked to her and she waved. "Privet volka. Kak dela?"

His eyes closed and he turned his head away. Hmph. She approached Zacharias and knelt beside him, her claws stroking his fur. "Ty grustnyy? Vy sozhaleniya?" He whimpered and moved to lay his head on her thigh. Her claws dug into his skull and she yanked his head away from her, her lips curling in a snarl. "Vy ne poluchite komfort ot menya vam nichego ne stoit durak!"

Her features softened and she stroked his fur. His body shook and his features were etched with pain. Veronica didn't care. Didn't care that he starved, that he was tortured daily, or that he sought to right his wrongs. Her emotions died the day he raped her. They shriveled up into nothing, never to return.

"Ty umresh' zdes'." Never to see your kin ever again.

She grinned, her eyes turning black, reflecting her soul. When the time is right I'll drink him to death, accepting my new life completely.

"We must put her down Ve, you know this. We cannot allow her to obtain red eyes. They're already black. You know what the next step is Victoria." Ve glared at her brother, Maliki, but she said nothing, for he was right. "Give me two weeks with her and then I'll kill her."

Sorry it's short. I'm real busy but I got a few requests so I did the best I could with the small amount of time I had.
