A/N: Man, without Em, it's gonna be a lot more hard, if ya haven't noticed, Emmy is so much better at writing than me, I'm not trying to be hard on myself or anythin, but that lass had more writing skills then I'll ever had. It's cool tho, I'll survive <3

I woke up from the gentle, orange tinted, sun rays that shone lightly on my face, my eyes fluttered open as a groan escaped my lips. I didn't want to wake up, not now at least. I slowly rolled over to my side, reaching out for my phone that rested silently on the nightstand.

'11 am' It read, I raised a brow, I usually wake up earlier then this. I shook my head and sat up, a yawn falling out of my mouth as I began to stretch. My eyes mindlessly wandered around the room, bashe walls painted with different colors of the sunrise, it was gorgeous.

After escaping some of my morning daze I threw the sheets off of me. I looked down at myself, I was in my clothes from yesterday, I must have forgotten to change last night before I went to bed.

I sighed, running a hand through my rather messy hair.

I finally got out of my bed, my feet coming in contact with the cold floor as I stood up, I began to slowly walk out of my room.

Once I was out into the hallway, a lonely sensation hit me. The house, it was so empty, so lifeless. I've had this aching feeling many times when my parents have left for missions, but knowing they were going to be gone for a whole year, it just sort of hit me all at once.

I shook off the feeling, my feet soon carried me to the bathroom. Once I closed the door behind me I began to undress, after I was in my boxers I turned on the shower to a warm temperature, I kept my hand under the water until it was warm enough for me to step in.

I took off my boxers, getting into the shower and feeling the warm water run down my body, a relaxing sensation flooded through me, I mindlessly cleaned myself off as I let my thoughts wander.

Suddenly I remembered.

Ken.

My eyes widened as a gasp escaped my lips. I quickly washed off as I felt panic shoot through my body. I turned off the shower, stumbling out as my mind raced.

How long has he been waiting? Is he already gone? Did he change his mind and didn't want to help me?

I threw on a plain white t-shirt and camouflage joggers, as soon as I finished getting dressed I began to run out of the bathroom door, I dashed into the kitchen grabbing a cereal bar and making my way out of the house, I made sure to grab my satchel. As soon as I made it out of my home, I began to do a light jog, even though I was still aching from the extreme workout I did yesterday.

I kept a steady pace down the side walk, I could feel eyes burning onto me, of course I'd be a little surprised to see a random stranger working out in this type of attire, but I still couldn't help but feel uncomfortable from the stares.

Soon my light jog turned into a speed walk, I finally reached The Gulp, the familiar smell I wasn't use to hit my nose, making my face scrunch up.

I looked around for the other, yet he was no where to be seen. My heart skipped a beat as I looked around frantically, I could feel panic taking over my body once again.

"Ken!" I called out, my voice laced with worries.

No reply..

I sighed, a frown present on my face. I knew I kept him waiting for to long, if only I set an alarm, I would be here much sooner.
