Elena knocked on her friend Bonnie's door. Shuffling was heard from inside the house. And a girl opens the door. "No freaking way!" Elena shouted and yelled her hand to her mouth, and the girl at the door was just as shocked. "Elena Gilbert?!" The girl yelled with happiness and gave Elena a hug. "Alex Russo oh my god I've missed you! How long has it been?"

Elena asked the girl she used to know in front of her. "A couple of weeks?" Elena asked letting Alex go from the hug. "Try a year!" Alex says rolling her eyes with a smile. "It's so good to see you!" Elena shouts jumping up and down in excitement Alex does the same. "So, what brings you here?" Alex says wiggling her eyebrows playfully.

Elena giggled, "I actually came to talk to Bonnie. Is she here?" Elena asked moving her head to the side to see if Bonnie was in the house. "Yeah she's in her room come in." Alex says with a smile. "BONNIE!" Alex yells to her. She propped down on the couch "Popcorn?" Alex's asks offering to Elena.

Elena took a few pieces and said thank you. Bonnie soon came downstairs and hugged her friend. "What's up Lena?" Bonnie asks with a smile. "I wanted to talk to you about Caroline...." Elena says looking down. Bonnie threw her hands up. "No Elena were not having this conversation." Bonnie said shaking her head. "Please if you just lis-" Elena was saying but was cut off by Bonnie.

"No! I already listened before! SHE IS DEAD ELENA!" Bonnie shouted at her. "What?" Alex asks getting up from the couch in shock. "Caroline's dead?" Alex asks again with a sad face. Bonnie nodded her head but was still looking at Elena, shooting daggers with her eyes. "Wait...you didn't know?" Elena asks Alex. Alex shook her head no and tears fell down her eyes.

"ELENA! I was gonna keep it to where ALEX DIDN'T HAVE TO KNOW! Bonnie yelled at her in a rude tone. Elena looked down ashamed. But how was she supposed to know? She hadn't seen Alex in a year how was she to know that Alex didn't know? "Bonnie...I feel Caroline. I sense that she's alive but she's not here she's not safe but she's alive."

Elena says running her hand through her hair. "Caroline is gone..." Bonnie says her voice barley above a whisper. "Can't you at least use magic to see if Caroline is still alive?" Elena asks her voice calm and soft. "No." Bonnie simply says. "What but Bonnie Caroline is our-" Elena was saying but was once again cut off by Bonnie. "Get out."

Bonnie says to her. "What?" Elena asked confused and shocked that her best friend was acting like this. "I said get out." Bonnie yelled using her magic to throw a base at Elena which missed her head. "You've changed! Let me tell you something Caroline wouldn't want you to act like a bitch." Elena says shaking her head and slammed the door.

Alex looked at Bonnie and Bonnie looked at her. Alex shook her head signaling that what she had done was a dick move. Alex grabbed her back and left. "Elena!" Alex yelled before Elena had drove off. Alex ran to Elena's car and knocked on the window. Elena pulled the car window down. "Can I have a ride? Bonnie kinda drove me here..." Alex says with a embarrassed laugh.

"Sure." Elena says with a warm smile. "Sorry about Bonnie." Alex said with a apologetic smile. "It's fine." Elena said starting the car. Elena drove away from Bonnie's house. Silence filled the car. "I can help." Alex said "What?" Elena asked her taking a quick glance at her and then looking back at the road. "I can help, to try and get Caroline back."

Alex says looking at the view. "How your not a witch?" Elena asks her confused. "I know I'm not but I am a wizard and I can try to see if she's still alive." Alex says looking at Elena. "Would you really do that?" Elena asked taking another quick glance. "Of course! She was my friend too you know." Alex said with a smile.

"Okay." Elena says "Thank you Alex. For helping me try to see if Caroline is at least still alive." Elena said stopping at Alex's destination. "Anything for to see if Caroline is still alive." Alex said opening the car door. "Thanks for the ride. Oh and if you want I can come over to your house tomorrow to try the spell?" Alex asked her, her hand getting ready to shut the car door.

"Umm..." Elena paused thinking if she had to do anything at all tomorrow. "Sure!" Elena says, "Okay see you tomorrow then." Alex says shutting the car door and unlocking her house door. They looked at each other one lay time and with a wave Elena left Alex's house.
