"Keep running!" Caroline yelled from behind her. "I-I ca-can't!" Sam yelled back out of breathe. Caroline sighed but angrily. "Sam I can't keep stopping if we want to get out of here we need to keep moving!" Caroline says turning to look at him. "Easy for you to s-say your a v-vampire." Sam stated catching his breathe faster now.
Caroline walked up to him with her machete in hand. "Umm Care what are you doing?!" Sam said backing up his hands in the air. She came closer and closer. "Duck." She says and and swung and Sam ducked quickly. Sam turned around to see a vampires head on the ground. "Shit." He muttered. "What?" Caroline asked confused with a smile.
"Nothing." Sam says smiling back. "No! Tell me what?" She says hitting his arm. "I thought you were gonna -" Sam says but was cut off by Caroline herself. "You thought I was gonna kill you!" She exclaimed putting her hands up to her face in shock and giggled. Sam turned a shade of pink. "What?! No I didn't think that...." Sam says turning his head to avoid eye contact.
"Uh huh sure. But I would never kill you Sammy." She said with a playful wink. He laughed. "Okay enough let's keep moving." Sam says and starts walking again. "Ugh I just wanna leave!" Caroline yelled. "COME ON UNIVERSE GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT!" She yelled once more.
Sam rolled his eyes and looked at her and saw figures running towards him he checked all around and there was at least 15 different monsters surrounding both Caroline and Sam. "YOU JUST HAD TO YELL THAT OUT DIDN'T YOU CAROLINE?!" Sam says yelling at her while putting Ruby's demon blade into a demon.
"Sorry?" She says in embarrassment and more of a question than an apology the soon killed the 15 creatures that came at them. "We need to get out of here!" Caroline says in defeat. "We're never gonna get out of here." Sam stated also giving up. "Why did we have to come here? What's this place called again?" Caroline turned to Sam and asked. "Purgatory this place is called Purgatory."
