Chapter 7- Neck Kisses Gone Bad

ELENAYS POV

"See you at the party?"

"Maybe" I told Jack as I got in my car. I know I actually brought my car to work. I waved at Jack and drove off.

"Melissa is Nessa almost here?" I asked as I rummaged through my closet looking for my black wedges. "Yeah she is around the corner" Melissa answered. We are currently finishing getting ready for the party.

I was slipping on my wedges when the doorbell rang. "I'm coming!" I yelled walking to the door. Opening the door I didn't see Nessa but Nate. "Nate? What are you doing here?" I asked surprised to see him. "Well Nessa called me and said that she couldn't come so I decide to take her place" he said with a cheeky grin. I laughed and invited him in.

We sat in the living room waiting for Melissa to finish getting ready. "So Ele" I looked up at Nate. "Yeah?"

"You and this Calum guy. Is there anything going on?" He asked. "No, I mean I don't think so". I said, and to be honest because I don't know what we have. Calum makes me feel so many things that I can't explain, and all we've ever done was talk. He says that I am his and maybe I am starting to believe it.

"Okay lets go" I turned around to see Melissa all dolled up and ready. "I call shot gun!" I yelled and ran to Nate's car.

"Is this his house?"

"Yeah it is" I said taking a good look at his mansion house. Entering the party I already smelled alcohol in the air. The music was blasting, this almost didn't seem like a birthday party. It seemed more like a club.

Walking further in to the crowd I noticed a stage right ahead, and on it was Calum, Luke, Michael, and this other brown haired guy that I haven't seen before. The music stopped and Michael said "Thank you all for coming". Everyone directed their eyes to him.

"I would like us all to sing to this hunk of a man" everyone laughed at his statement and began singing.

"Happy birthday dear Calum.."

And that's when Calum and I locked eyes. He smiled and I smiled back. "Mr. Hood is looking at you" Nate whispered in my ear and nodded toward Calum.

I looked at Nate then back at Calum, and the smile that once was on Calums face was gone. If looks could kill I'm pretty sure Nate would have been dead already.

"Calum!" I called as he ran off the stage leaving the crowd in shock. "Calum!" I yelled following him outside. "Calum" I grabbed his wrists, and he stopped moving. "Calum look at me"

"No" he said in low tone. "Why? What did I do?" I asked confused. He turned around, his eyes weren't his usual chocolate brown color they were almost black. I was scared to say the least. "Leave me alone and go have fun with your boyfriend" he said getting away from my grip.

"Is that what this is about?!" I asked as he was walking away. "Calum he's not my boyfriend! I don't even like him like that!" Calum stopped walking. He turned around his eyes were back to normal.

He was walked up to me and hugged me, he dug his head in my neck. "What was that Cal" I asked pushing him so we made eye contact. He motioned for me to follow him.

We walked for a bit until we came upon a beautiful clearing with some benches by it. "Wow" was all I said. There were flowers and trees surrounding the clearing as if it was closed by the plants. We sat down on the bench. "Lets play a game" Calum asked me. "What game?"

"The question game. I know you have a lot of questions, so I am going to let you ask me anything. But only if I get to ask you questions in return" he said. I agreed and asked first

"Why did your eyes change color back there?"

"It happens because my wolf is trying to take over. It always happens when I am mad or jealous, and only my mate can calm it, which would be you"

"Wait what, it sounded like you said wolf"

"That's because I did"

"You must be joking"

"It's my turn. Who was that guy you came with?"

"His names Nate, he's just a friend. Trust me... Now Back to the wolf thing"

"Ele. I'm going to show you but please don't freak out"

Calum got up from the bench and took his shirt off. "Um what are you doing?" I said trying hard not to stare at him. "It's okay babe I don't mind" he said smirking "After all I am yours" was all he said before he turned into this massive black wolf. "Holy shit" was all I said.

Calum is an actual wolf, I don't know if I should cry or run right now. I got up from the bench I hadn't notice I was shaking. I just stood there shocked, I didn't want to believe this was true. The wolf- I mean Calum sat down and then laid down, as if it was a sign that he wouldn't hurt me.

I don't know what came over me but I was making my way toward him. I was scared to say the least, but I was still raising my hand to touch him. He got up and put his nose to my hand, I moved my hand over his fur. It was so soft.

All of the sudden he moves back and I see, not a wolf, but Calum standing there butt naked. I turned around quickly with my face quickly turning red. "You're cute, but you can turn around now" he said. "Um no you're freaking naked" I said not wanting to turn around. "I put some clothes on"

I turned around and he had his shirt and pants back on. "You're not scared?" Calum said grabbing by hands. I looked up at him and said "No. I don't know why. I mean I just saw you turn into a freaking wolf! I should be running away from you... But oddly I feel safe and calm"

He smiled and hugged me. When he did that, I felt tingly. "Um Cal?" I said confused as to why he did that and why I felt this way. "Ele it's the mate bond" he said. "I don't understand" I said.

"Let me help you understand let me mark you" he said his eyes getting dark. "Cal whats happening to you? Why are your eyes turning black" I asked my voice shaking. "It's my wolf, he wants to take over" his eyes were changing from his normal color to black, as if he was having an internal battle. "Let him take over" I said.

"Really? Ele my wolf can be a little blunt and straight forward he is possessive over what is his and doesn't like to be told no" He said starting to shake a bit. "I wanna talk to him Cal" and with that his eyes were completely black.

"Cal?" I asked. "No my sweet Ele, it's Damion" his voice gave me the chills. "Damion?" his accent was thicker and his smirk was stronger. "Yes, Calum's wolf. Ele let me mark you, let's complete the mating process" he said getting closer to me. "What is that?" I asked.

"When I finally claim you as mine" he said. "I am no ones. I am sorry but I am not an object were you can just claim me!" I said raising my voice. He growled, "You're mine whether you like it or not" he said pulling me so close and nudging his head in my neck. He inhaled. "What are you doing?" I asked

"Mine" he kept repeating that while running kisses down my neck. "D-damion" I stuttered, it felt so good but I wanted him to stop. "S-stop, C-cal-" I let out a moan which caused him to smirk on my neck. "I don't think you want me to" he said. All of a sudden I felt something sharp near my neck.

"What are you-" I didn't get to finish because I felt something stab my neck which caused me to let out an hear piercing scream. Soon it was replaced by an overwhelming feeling of pleasure. My knees got week and then everything went black.
