Chapter 14- Okay With It

ELENAYS POV

I stared at Melissa who looks frozen in her seat. She looks at me in utter confusion. Out of no where we hear a growl from Luke.

Melissa looks back at him. "Um Ele?" I get up and walk towards Melissa. "Let's go to my room real quick" I grab her hand and pull her as fast as I could to my room.

When we got there I closed the door and locked it. Then a few seconds later I hear a bang on the door. "Give me my mate" I hear Luke yell.

"Ele what does he mean by mate? I'm confused and a bit scared" I look at Mel. "I can't explain this all to you, he has to. But trust me he won't hurt you" I go to open the door.

"I'm going to open the door now" Mel just nods. As soon as I open the door a frantic Luke walks in. He looks around until his eyes land on Mel and he walks towards her.

"Mine" he says and engulfed her in a hug. I slowly walk out of the room and went downstairs to give them some time alone.

As I walked into the living room I see everyone was sitting there eating Pizza. "You guys are eating with out me, gasp" I say and put my hand on my heart. "Calum how could you" I pretend to be hurt. "Don't be a baby the food just got here" I roll my eyes and grab a slice.

"So I guess Luke found his mate" Calum says and I nod "I guess he did"

Thirty minutes had past and Melissa was still upstairs in my room with Luke.

I still can't believe that they are mates. Who would have thought my best friend and I would have mates. I wonder what their doing right now.

And as if on cue I hear Melissa coming down the stairs yelling something. "You're insane!" I turn around and see her running down the stairs. "Is this a joke?! Ele I think he is on drugs" I walked towards her and see she is shaking a bit.

"What happen Mel?" I said grabbing her hands and looking at a hurt looking Luke trailing behind her. I glanced at him and gave him a warning look. She was over whelmed I could tell, and she needed some space from Luke even if he doesn't like it.

"Come with me Mel" I pulled her to up to my room again. "What happened? What did Luke tell you?" She took a deep breath. "He was telling me how I was his and how we are mates. And then he went on to tell me he was a werewolf!" She was pacing around the room.

"Who the hell would believe that! I mean I read books about mates and wolfs so I know the basics but come on how can it be real! And then he told me to trust him but how the hell am I supposed to do that when I don't even know who he is" she placed her hands on her temple.

"And to top it all off his eyes were flashing from his normal color to black, I was just imagining that right?" Melissa said as she finally sat down next to me.

"Mel, look, everything he told you is real. I know this may come as shock to you but all the things Luke told you was real" I grabbed her hands. "So everything I have read about werewolf's and mates... They actually exist" I nodded. "Yes Mel, I just found out a while ago about this too, and Calum is my mate" I told her waiting for a reaction.

"WAIT you mean to tell me your boss turned out to be your mate?!?! Ele that is kind of amazing" I looked at her in disbelief, a second ago she was panicking about all of this now she thinks its amazing, wow I wish I took all of this so good.

"Are you okay with all of this?" Melissa thought about it for a while before she said. "Yeah I am, I know I should be scared, I mean deep down I am a bit, but I think reading about this helps. I've always wanted a mate anyways" I looked at her and laughed

"Only you would take something like this so calmly" She gave me hug and grabbed my shoulders. "I guess it is time to face Luke" She sighed "I guess it is"
