Aiden --->
”Hey bro. I didn’t know you were coming over. How drunk was I yesterday?” I could hear my brother say. I took one last look in the mirror, my short denim shorts was sitting perfectly on my bum. I wore them with a pale yellow thin knitted sweater and converse in the same yellow colour. I left my hair to it’s natural waves. I sprayed on Euphoria blossom and took my phone before hitting downstairs.
“Actually I’m here to meet your sister” Aiden said as I came down. Ethan looked at me.
“Is it true?” I nodded my head and Ethan walked over to Aiden and reached out for his hand. Aiden took his hand and shook it.
“Take care of her” He said and let go of Aiden’s hand
“I’m right here, you know” Ethan looked at me and smiled before walking into our living room.
“Ready?” Aiden asked.
“Yeah, let’s go before Ethan puts a transmitter on me” I said and Aiden started to laugh and we walked out to his car.
“So where are we going” I asked.
“It will be a surprise” he said and smirked.

“Tomoka state park?” I read on one sign.
“Every townie have been here like a million times, but since you haven’t lived here for that long, I thought that I should take you here so you can become an official townie” He said and smile.
“So, what do you know about this park?” I asked.
“This is where the native Americans lived back in the days” Aiden said and started to walk into the park. I followed him around in the park, it was beautiful. There were statues picturing the native Americans and some old ruins. We kept on walking around, there were a lot of animals here. I even saw a turtle, it was so cute. Aiden just laughed at me every time I saw a new animal, in my defence I grew up with high buildings, loud noises and a lot of traffic. He took me back to the parking lot telling me that he was gonna rent a canoe. I have no idea how to do with a canoe, I have only seen them on TV. When we got to the river I saw a sign. My whole body freezed. I just stood there and re-read the sign over and over again. Aiden seem to notice what I was doing.
“Don’t worry, there are no alligators on this side. And if one would show up we’ll call a lifeguard or a Park Ranger, I have been here many times and only seen an alligator once” It was so unreal, I knew alligators lived in America but they were far away from New York. I have never faced an alligator in my entire life, and I was scared. But I trust Aiden, he is a townie and he knows, he have too I mean he said it himself. I try to swallow my fear but it doesn’t work. Aiden puts the canoe in the water and takes my hand and helps me into the boat. He hands me a life jacket and I put with shaky hands the vest on my body.
“Stokes, I won’t let the alligators feed on you. Take a deep breathe and don’t worry” He said and pushed the canoe out in the water with help from his paddle. I took a deep breathe, then two and three. But it didn’t work, my heart started to beat faster and I felt dizzy.
