"You know, since I'm 18 now and you're still 17, technically we're illegally dating" Maddie said as we walked down the corridor and out to the back of school where we were meeting our friends on the field.

"How so?"

"You're a minor and I'm a major"

"Are you sure that's illegal?" She shrugged.

"I read it in a weird story on tumblr once. I'm probably wrong" I laughed slightly and we were soon sat with Michael, Calum and Maya.

"So, we were thinking that us five, Ashton, and Josie can come if you want Mikey, should all go down to my parent's beach house for spring break" I told them.

"Yeah, that sounds good. I feel like we never see each other now" Maya said.

"Exactly" Maddie agreed.

"So you guys are in?"

"Definitely" Maya said and Calum and Michael nodded.

"I'll ask Josie but I don't know. No offence but she doesn't seem to like you guys that much"

"Well, she's welcome anyway" Maddie faked a smile which luckily no one noticed.

"Hey, loveb-" Ashton said as I walked into the cafe. He put down the cloth he was holding and leaned on the counter. "Where's the lover?"

"Oh, she had to go home. Her mum's still not overly keen on her being with me outside of school in case I have sex with her" I rolled my eyes at my own words.

"Yeah, her mum can be like that. I was never really sure if she liked me that much either. I mean, she never liked having me around after Maddie and I got back from camp" I nodded.

"Anyway, we planned a little trip to the beach house over spring break, you in?"

"Who's going?"

"You, me, Mads, Cal, Mike, Josie and Maya"

"Maddie's friend?" He questioned Maya's name. I nodded.

"Sounds good, Hemmings. I'll come"

"Good, you can be the responsible one"

"What's happening with Josie then?" He asked changing the topic.

"I have no idea. She doesn't want to have sex with Michael is all I know. Maddie doesn't like her and neither do I that much"

"She seemed alright at first but I feel like at the party there was something off about her" I nodded in agreement. "So if Maddie doesn't like her then why are you inviting her?"

"Because Michael will want her there and Maddie's got Maya"

"Yeah, I guess"

"Anyway, I told Maddie I'd go over hers. She needs help with her math homework or something"

"Alright, see you later"

"So, if this makes a right angle then?" I nodded. Maddie needed help with her circle theorems work.

"Yeah, that's it then"

"Thanks"

"No worries. I mean what else is a boyfriend for?"

"This" She pecked my lips before standing up from the bed. "I want to do something"

"Like?"

"I don't know" She grumbled and laid back down on her bed, clutching her stomach. "Urgh"
