I Heard You

Justin's POV

Tara flat lined last night. The doctors told me that she was very weak, due to not having any sleep for what seemed like months.

They were able to get her heart beating again. But It was scary. She's so important to me. If I lost her, I don't know what I would've done. I would be lost. I need her.

They told me when she wakes up they want to put her on some depression pills.

Its so hard to think they she's so unhappy that she would try and end her life. That she wouldn't want to be here on earth anymore.

I wish she knew just how worried I am about her. I love her. She's all I truly have.

I was sitting next to Tara and felt her squeeze my hand. She had been doing that for awhile now. I've talked to her. I'm not sure if she can hear me. The doctors told me she might but they won't know till she wakes up. They told me that she should be up in a few hours and to just be patient.

Tara's POV

I sat alone for 45 minutes then Mama came out out of the room. She walked the other way and didn't stop walking.

"MAMA!" I screamed.

She never even looked back.

"MAMA! MAMA!?!"

She walked out the door. I ran after her.

I looked at her through the window. She blew me a kiss with tears running down her face.

I sat in the dirt and screamed,

"MAMA WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!?"

I'm dreaming. That incase you can't tell, was the day my Mom left me. I was alone. Daddy told her I was a monster. Daddy didn't want me. I guess Mommy didn't either.

"DADDY NO!"

"Come here!"

I screamed.

I wasn't scared. He was nice. He was gentle. He was caring.

"I'm going to get you!" He laughed.

"No!!" I kept running.

I ran behind Mommy.

"Hiding behind Mommy are we?" He smirk.

"Yes!" I smiled up at him.

"Looks like I'm going to have to get Mommy too!"

"Don't you dare." He then picked her up and started twirling her around. He spun a spun.

He put her down and tickled her. They were both in the grass now. He kissed her. He loved her. I could see it. I was young and thought everything was like a disney movie. But I wouldn't always think that.

"WHERE IS MY WHISKEY?!!?"

He was yelling again.

"I've had a long day at work and would just like my god damn whiskey!"

I was so young. I didn't know he had a problem. I didn't know he could be scary. Or mean. He never had done anything to make me live in fear of him till he first hit me.

"Daddy! Daddy!" I ran up to him.

"Not now princess"

"But daddy!"

"I said not now."

"Daddy. I made a picture."

"Thats nice" He was getting more mad.

"Daddy?"

"God damn it Tara I fucking told you not now!" He hit me. He pushed me down, and walked away. He grabbed his bottle and walked up the stairs. Little did I know my Daddy was turning into a monster.

Everything from the moment I was born to the moment of me taking the pills were flashing through my head. The good and the bad. I felt joy and hurt.

"Tara?" I could hear someone call me.

"Tara? Honey can you hear me?"

It was Justin.

Justin's POV

"Can you hear me?"

She squeezed my hand.

"Baby please wake up."

"Find a way. Please"

Slowly her eyes started to open.

"Daddy?"
