The job that brought them closer (nalu)

On the train ride back to Magnolia, I have my head in Lucy's lap like always, thanks to my motion sickness. She is reading some book that she bought in a book shop on our way to the train station, Lucy seems a bit unsteady, always shifting her weight as she has her cute nose in the pages of the novel. Minutes pass by and I start to smell it, her arousal. She smells so sweet like vanilla. It's intoxicating. I had thoughts of taking her then and there, but for a second time I control myself, I didn't want to make a scene on the death trap of a train. I glanced up at the words in Lucy's small novel to find out that she's reading a cheesy sex novel. 'Why would Luce be reading stuff like that?' I thought to myself while trying not to lose my breakfast on Lucy.   

When the train halted at its destination in Magnolia, Natsu flew towards the exit, knocking over a few people on the way, Lucy went after him and apologized for her dense partner. Right outside the train car she found him kissing the solid ground. 'He's kinda cute when he does that.' She thought to herself as she walked towards Natsu, when she was in arms reach from him, her partner grabbed her hand and laced his fingers with hers. A light pink tint fell across her cheeks when he did this. The duo went out to a nearby café and ate lunch, or in Natsu's case, almost all the food they had, and headed towards her place and conversed on the way there after shelling out a good amount of jewels for the meal.

As the two mages walked, Natsu started to say "Ne Lucy, it's still mating season for me and since that job is over- mmf" Lucy cut him off with an intimate, passionate kiss that caught the salamanders attention.

"You should head to the guild, I have some shopping to do, you should come by my place later." His companion said to him in a low whispering tone that Natsu thought was sexy, so he agreed and started making his way towards the guild with a skip in his step.

    When Natsu was almost out of her eyesight, Lucy turned south towards one of the stores that she loves, Fairy works as she walks through the single payne glass door, the girl is bombarded with fragrances from floral, to fruit, to sweets. Lucy looks over at the shelves of body wash grabs a bottle that catches her eye, and starts to inhale the fragrance. A store clerk moseys over to see if she might need help. "Welcome to Fairy works! How can I help you?" The brunette clerk asked Lucy questioningly with a dimpled smile on her face.

Lucy smiled back at the chipper store clerk and asked
