The New Addition

As Jason left the kingdom the new head guard came riding up behind. "You, how did you escape the cell." Questioned the guard. "Magic..." Said Jason sarcastically. "WITCH!" Screamed the man. "You ignorant buffoon, Lawrence let me out." Said Jason. "Oh. Ok then just be on your way." Said the guard as he lowers his sword slowly and slightly scratches the tall white stallion. The guard trotted away after a couple of minutes of silence. Then Jason was off again, he had to try to find some sort of town or village soon. Just then there was a explosion. Jason turns back to see a giant demon stomping around the kingdom of frogwood. "Oh dear." Said a mysterious voice. Jason was startled by the voice. He raised his sword and swung like a mad man. Then he herd a cry and a young woman fall to the ground. She had a cloak and some sort of book and staff with a big reddish green gem on top. Jason just stood there wide eyed he had never hurt or killed someone before. Then the young woman slowly got to her feet, a decent cut across her cheek. "I am so sorry I didn't mean to hit you." Said Jason sounding really embarrassed. "I-I-It's fine." She said coughing. The woman propped herself up on the staff, and held her hand to the cut. She removed her hand and looked down at the blood. "Are you ok miss?" Asked Jason. "I'm fine." She said still staring at the blood on her fingers. "Jason I need a minute alone." The girl said after about a minute of silence. "How do you know my name?" Asked Jason. "I'm a Mage and I herd about you saving yaggersdail." Said the girl. "So... What's your name miss." Said Jason. "Jennifer." The girl said. "I like that name." Jason said. "I hate it." Jennifer said. "So what are you doing out here Jen." Asked Jason. "First call me Jennifer and second I followed you out here, I was hired to destroy the rift just like you." Said Jennifer. "Ok you can come with me if you want." Said Jason over his shoulder. A large blue light erupted from behind Jason, he spun around to see Jennifer in the blue blast of light, fighting a demon scout. "Kill him you idiot." Yelled Jennifer over the noise erupting from her staff. As she said it Jason ran over and sliced open the demons back, a strange orange puss came from the wound and started to fizz as it hit the ground, the puss turned in to another demon. "These thing reproduce using that fizzy puss!?!?!?!" Yelled Jason. "You didn't know that?" Asked Jennifer finishing of the first scout. "How should k know how these things work." Said Jason as he cut of the head of the second scout. No puss came from the wound this time. "So if we slice the backs of the demons open the reproduce." Said Jason. "Yes, so only count of the legs head and arms. OK." Said Jennifer. "Got it." Said Jason. So our heroes were of on there journey to the borderlands, where the the rift lies un touched and spilling demons upon the land.
