After the fight our heroes came to the village of Phoenix Drop, a small town with a hotel, pub and a small castle at the other end of town. "I need to rest a bit," said Jennifer. "Well let's get rooms at the hotel," said Jason as he walked to the door of the hotel and held it open for Jennifer. She gave him an angry glare and walked inside. "Hello and welcome to the inn," said the inn keep. "Hi, we would like 2 rooms please." Said Jason. "I'm very sorry, but we only have 1 room left." Said the inn keep. "Are there 2 beds?" Asked Jennifer. "Only 1 bed." Said the inn keep. They stood there looking at the inn keep. "Well I guess we sleep in the same bed then, how old are you any way Jen," said Jason. "13," said Jennifer. "Are there any guests willing to share a room," asked Jason, worried that Jennifer would rip him to pieces. "I'm willing to share." Said a tall man in a thick leather cloak and heavy dark steal armor. "Y-y-you want to share a room with these strangers Darius." Asked the inn keep, startled at the shadow cased across the small lobby. In a loud booming voice Darius said, "I would love to share my room with this beautiful maiden and her servant." Jennifer was startled at the fact that she was called beautiful since no one had ever saw her face, so she looked at Jason and then his face lit up, "I'm sorry but m'lady is not in the mood to marry after what happened to my master,"Jason said with a dismayed look as his head slowly looked to the floor, "He lived a good life here now he's with the spirits." Jason finished his speech. "I was just kidding man." Said Darius. "Oh..." Said Jason sounding silly. Darius lead them to the biggest room in the building in the corner of the room there was a small bed and chess board on the other side was a kitchen, that was a complete mess, and near the door a small restroom and bath, the room was dark and hard to make out its features, but they some how made it to the chess board for the meeting that was going to be held. There they sat in the darkness of the room in a calm silence till the silence was broken by Jason "Thanks for sharing the room but why did you do that?" "Well I need a favour from you two," said Darius, "I saw you take on those scouts earlier and I thought we could form an alliance." Darius completed leaning back in his small chair. Jennifer moved her queen and cornered Jason's King."KING ME!" Yelled Jennifer. "Do you even know what we are playing?" Asked Darius. "Are we playing mahjong?" Asked Jennifer. Jason was astonished at how dumb Jennifer was. "So we just help you out and we are done here?" Asked Jennifer. Darius nodded and motioned toward the door and said "shall we go?" "We need rest." Said Jason and jumped on the bed with the purple cloak witch he assumed was Jennifer and fell asleep.
